Here in Canada the average price would be about $2.00. Your price in Japan is really expensive. I might have to give up coffee!!! I prefer Tim Horton's to Starbucks though .... and it costs a little less.

As a matter of fact, it is quite expensive to buy a cup of coffee
in starbucks in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It costs about RM 12.00
to RM 15.00 about 3.50 USD for one cup of starbucks coffee.

Just coffee is like $2.00 you get a Latte or something then it's more like $3.50.
I spent $150 USD and bought my own little machine and spend $7.99 a month on good coffee. A lot less than a few cups!

I'm in Japan too, but from USA. The prices are about the same, but the size of the Venti Ice Coffee in America is HUGE. I'm not sure exactly, but I'd guess around 700ml

I just called our starbucks, and its $1.61 (in us money) for a small/tall i think they call it, but i don't know what tehy call it in japan. I guess its more expensive, or your getting something other then plain coffee which is what i asked for the price for. Well i hope this helps.

way too much money for my taste buds. i like regular coffee not the ultra-caffeine coffee starbucks sells. i live in Michigan in the USA and I will not pay $3 for a cup of coffee, that is way too high in my opinion.

about $2.50, that is why david bach says we suffer from the "latte factor" The latte factors states that people can't 'afford' to save for retirement / college / whatever, but they sure can buy a latte everyday.
