First off take it to a good vet. Listen to what the vet has to say then if he/she reccomends a product called mothers milk you can purchase it at pet stores feed according to directions. Keep your kitty warm and well fed and watered and he'll grow up to be a happy loved cat. I had a rescue kitty about that age best cat I ever had.

Your kitten needs to be returned to its mother until at least 8 weeks old.
You do not understand what you are getting into, feedings about every 2 hours 24/7.
If the kitten does not continue to get its mothers milk, the little one will suffer from mal-nutrition and have a delayed growth pattern plus mamas milk protects the kitten from disease and germs.
Return it to its mother asap, and get it back after 8 weeks, and talk to your friend as to getting all kittens given away from that litter asap. Let your friend know the seriousness of the situation.

Call a Vet... that kitten is too young to be away from it's mom... I've heard many times that a kitten needs to be somewhere between 5 or 6 weeks old to leave it's mommy. Please let it stay with the mom cat until then so it will suvrive!!! or get a Vet to help you with what you need to feed it and how often.

It needs to be bottle fed cat-milk substitute. You can get it at a local pet store or sometimes KMart or Walmart has it. The kitten needs alot of attention and cuddling, too. Do not leave it alone at this point, it is still too young. Better yet, try to return it to its mother. and come back in a month.

Anybody who puts a pet question in a drink sections obviously has not got a clue how to feed an animal that shouldn't even be away from its mother at that age. Someone rescue the poor thing before this person kills it.
Someone contact a rescue charity.........

Go buy cat milk substitute from the pet store. That cat was too young to be seperated from its mother. They need to be with their mother until they are 8 weeks old.

biggest mistake do not give in him human milk this is the biggest mistake that people do, it is very bad for him because their mother's wilk has vitamin that human milk doesn't this is what makes them get extremely fat, call a vet office and ask go to a pet supermarket and ask, you should but formula for your cat, yes they actually sell formula for cats
