I am dying for a great roti. I'd prefer goat but vegetable will be cool, too. I'm in Brooklyn, NY. Any one know of a good place that can hook me up? I'd appreciate it if you also know if they're open on Sundays. Directions are definitely welcome. Thanx in advance!

So, while i was in mexico i happened to try mango's w/chile stuff and lime. i can figure out what lime is and what kind mango it was (not that it really matters anyway) but does anyone know what kind of chile powder is used? i've tried just the regular ol "chile powder" and that didn't taste right.

Hi I recently went to a local Thai restaurant and had a wonderful dish they call Rama Spicy. Basically its a sweet, salty, and spicy ground meat dish served with flour wraps. The meat mixture has green onions, regular onions, jalapenos, and cilantro that I could see. Its not laab, larb, or larp. I am pretty sure I could taste anise, cumin, and ginger or other citrusy flavor. If you have a recipe for this you could share I would greatly appreciate it, or at least if you could give me a name for it so I might have an easier time trying to find it. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I tried so many books and pastes like "Pataks" and nothing quite tastes like most Curried dishes in a GOOD Indian Restaurant.
