I wonder if you mean homemade or restaurant ordered. I make my own version...take it or leave it but everyone enjoys it.
Most important is the rice be pre-cooked and cold. I preheat my wok with a mixture of vegetable oil and butter then saute onions, green peppers, celery, mushrooms, grated carrot, baby cooked shrimps, sliced & diced cooked chicken, then I add my rice and stir all well.....I add 2 T onion soup mix...soya sauce....teriyaki sauce....2 T chicken in a mug powder...sliced green onions...then 3 uncooked eggs are stirred in until cooked...it is so good with a yummy chicken vegetable stir fry...and homemade eggrolls...:)

My favorite is, pork fried rice with lobster sauce on the side. And the place that makes it the best is a restaurant located in Lynn Massachusetts. The place is called Dragon Inn.

I love most of them but I prefer vegetable fried rice because you don't have to cut the big sizes of pork or beef that are put in the other types.

I do not put soy sauce in my fried rice, just salt to taste, pale yellow in colour, looks good and yummy.
My favourite is salty fish & chicken fried rice, the next one is egg white, dried scallops and chinese broccoli fried rice.
<<<<<< Salty fish & Chicken Fried Rice >>>>>>> Serves 2
2 cups cooked rice (left over), cold
1/2 cupsmall salty fish flakes (or anchovies)
5 tablespooncooking oil
2 slices fresh ginger (chopped)
2 cupsdiced steamed chicken breast (marinated with salt, garlic powder, cooking wine, sugar)
3 eggs, beaten (whisk with salt to taste)
1 tspsesame oil
4 tbspchopped spring onion / chives
salt to taste
1) Break up rice with fork and set aside.
2)In a non-stick frying pan or wok, heat 2 tablespoon cooking oil over medium heat, pour eggs in and stir fry quickly till cook. Place in a bowl, set aside.
3) Heat 2 tablespoon of cooking oil in a wok over low heat, stir fried ginger for 30 seconds, fry salty fish slowly until crisp.
4) Turn heat to medium, add chicken and stir fry for 1 minute.
5)Add rice and egg in the wok, cut egg to small pieces with your spatula and mix well.
7) Try the taste and add salt if desired, sprinkle sesame oil, add spring onions or chives. Turn off heat, mix well and serve.
If you do not like salty fish, you can just fried steamed chicken and cooked pawns, ham then add rice and eggs, same as the above and also tasty.
Salty fish tastes very strong which you may not like it, but when I don't put it in my recipe, I sometimes sprinkle a lot of freshly grated black pepper in the wok to make it spicy or simply add some curry powder to make dry curry fried rice.
