Beer, Wine & Spirits (Food & Drink) - September 2007

I've heard that wine in moderation is better for your heart than not drinking at all. But over drinking is worse, of course. My quesion is, is there other types of alcohol that is good too?

Vodka.
Tequila.
Rum.

My parents are trying to get healthy, and I want to see if I can somehow get them to buy hard liquor. I hate wine. So does anyone know?

Is it okay that I froze my homebrew yeast?

It was a long drive from the homebrew supply shop, so it was cooled off by the time I got home and I wasn't thinking and stuck it in the freezer instead of the fridge. It's a liquid belgian wit from white labs. I probably left it in there for a couple of hours, enough to freeze it solid. I stuck it back in the fridge to thaw it slowly. Will it still be okay?

i work in a warehouse?

my question is this. when i pack of beer gets busted open it attracts fly`s from everywhere who seem to love the stuff. this being the case, does anyone think that they get drunk and if they do, do they piss in the street, drop their trousers and start fights?

Help: I start work today and need to know a little about wine!?

I was supposed to start work at a restaurant at the end of this month but they are short handed today and asked me to fill in. They serve wine here and the manager asked me to go home and learn about what foods go with what wines. This restaurant serves fish, clams, and other seafood, chicken and filet mignon. Any advise would be greatly appriciated. I start at 5pm. :)

Long Island Ice Tea- can it be mixed in a bottle? Yes- transport it in the trunk.?

Long Island Ice tea- 5 white liqours, coke and sweet & sour mix. Can it be mixed in a jar so that I don't have to bring all my bottles with me. I don't want to buy the stuff down the road. Please advise. What is the mesurments?
