Yes. It is liquid corn sugar. You can also get corn sugar itself from beer making supply houses. You will have to adjust amounts if you are comparing it to granulated cane sugar. I don't have a conversion chart but I am sure you can get one of the Internet.

Yes. Yeast will convert any sugar or starch to alcohol. They don't care if it's flour or sugar.

It has a shelf life of forever, I am guessing. I usually throw it away after several yrs of sitting on my shelf.
