What a fab idea!
I'd love to be in a beer garden right now with some good music playing faintly in the background and loads of my friends having a nice chat about random stuff!
As to the drink... Hmm, tough one. Probably a Kriek beer, or maybe a Leffe - yummy.
Although I'd also be very happy with a Rum and Sprite, a Pimms (with strawberry's and not too many citrus fruit slices as all the bits end up everywhere and get stuck in the straw.) or a nice glass of bubbly ;)
Great question - I'm all buzzing with Friday happiness now!

I absolutely love Bulmers and Magners (but aren't they both essentially the same cider?) . I can't get Bulmers or Magners in the US, unfortunately. I drank it when I went to Ireland and I have been wanting to find it in the US since I got back.
A corona with a wedge of lime is pretty fantastic or a blended margarita...yum.
Now you have me thinking about alcohol and its only 9:30 A.M. But it is Friday and I'm on vacation next week. Woo Hoo!!!!!!

I agree.
I really actually like the Blue Moon for a summer wheat (and I don't care for wheats). I recently tried the $10 per 4 10oz bottle pack Lucifer and it is outstanding.
I just picked up a 6 of Sam Adam's Octoberfest and another seasonal by someone else (don't remember).

Mmm, sounds like a great idea. My favourite summer drink has to be a nice cold bottle of Sol or Corona with a wedge of lime. Unfortunately i'm stuck at work till 5

Where can I get some seeds for my winter Beer garden?
My fave libation is anybodys generous offering to a poor hard working, old man. Now about that enjoyable summer weather; it has been 90s here for most of august with 85% humdity,a tad of fall weather would be a welcome change.

Yes, we should. Preferibly one by the Dart river. A nice pint of the local cider would do me nicely.
