i like Glenfiddich, single malt scotch whisky.

Rum. Bacardi, Captain Morgan's, or Parrot Bay.

And I love doing Tequila shots with salt & a lime/lemon wedge.

Captain Morgan Rum. It tastes great with coke or 7up. And it's 70 proof so it's not so strong that you can't enjoy more than one drink!

as far as base alcohols go:

absolute flavoured vodkas (tops: ruby red, pears, currant)

stoli for base vodka, and flavoured (blueberry :) )

single malt scotch whiskey (glenfiddich is affordable and nice)

gin (hendricks all the way!)

zubrowka bison grass vodka

barbancourt rhum

liqueurs:

drambuie, campari, grand marnier, berentzen apfel korn and benedictine
