Over Christmas, my uncle had bought several bottles of Moet&Chandon and I remember hearing him refer to it as "the good stuff."

(I know that Moet makes Dom Perignon, which is a famous and expensive champagne)...
but I was curious if Moet&Chandon IS really one of the better brands of champagne, and how much a regular bottle of it might cost (non-vintage).

the guy in the store refused to sell me eny drinks that contain 's alcohol in the next store it was the same! waht if I show him somebody alse ID who's abow 21? wil he give me the drink? is there a way to stil buy it? where can I gete it if not in the store? is there eny way I can trick him?

I bought a bottle of Mernaya Honey and Pepper vodka tonight because it looked interesting. Well, it's not terrible, but it's not a sipper. It isn't very sweet or very spicy and the vodka has a strong flavor to it. I'm trying to find a recipe that will compliment the flavors. I tried mixing it with some homemade coffee liqueur and that was pretty tasty but I don't want the caffiene in the liqueur to keep me up all night. Any ideas?

I mean it seems the synthetic ones are usually more difficult to pull out and impart a plastic taste.

I have a bottle tonight that I can't open; if I had known it had the synth cork, I wouldn't have bought it.

When I was living in Germany I love drinking Moet, and bought them from any supermarket for about EUR35-40/bottle. I have seen only one type, even at weddings, grand openings etc. Well, maybe every now and then I got limited edition but the price range is the same and in fancy restaurant that costs about only EUR75.

Now I'm in the States and seen different kind of Moet and priced between $80-200 at the wine stores. Have any idea which one they drink in Europe and if they even sell it here? If they're the same why does it cost so much more? I think $60/bottle for champagne is all I would like to spend for entertaining.

I'm new to whole wine-serving scene, and I would like to know of some good red Italian wines that are robust. As far as price goes, I would like something leaning toward the more expensive side of the scale, but nothing crazy like a hundred dollars a bottle. Any help in this would be greatly appreciated, both by me and my dinner guests!

My husband went to Scotland on a deployment and fell in love with Magners cider. He would settle for Strongbow if Magners wasn't available. I have tried to search online to order it and find vendors, but nothing inside the US. If you know of a company or website that imports it, please let me know! Thanks!

Unfortunately, St. Louis' weather has been unsatisfactory, so I'm stuck inside with my roommate instead of going to Mardi Gras. We feel like getting drunk, and want to make jello shots. 1.) I come from a very traditional christian family and live at home with my mom. Even though I'm old enough she goes crazy when i drink.
