Unfortunately, St. Louis' weather has been unsatisfactory, so I'm stuck inside with my roommate instead of going to Mardi Gras. We feel like getting drunk, and want to make jello shots. This is going to sound stupid, but I seriously don't know how to make them. I don't know when to add the alcohol and blah blah...so anyways, help would be much appreciated!

Buy your favorite kind of jello - most instructions call for hot and cold water, I just replace the cold water with alcohol (vodka, flavored to match the jello is always good) and then pour about a shot into small dixie cups, refridge for instructed time, and there ya go, happy drinking!

Just use the recipe for jello on the back of the box, but substitute the cup of cold water with a cup of alcohol (vodka works best). Heat a cup of water, mix well with the jello powder, add a cup of cold alcohol, pour in shot glasses, let it set, enjoy.
There's a ton of other recipes, but this one never fails.

You make the Jello just like normal, follow the directions on the box. But instead of all the water add the alcohol. Whatever alchohol you chose though most people pick Vodka. Add as much or little as you like, and use as much or little water as you like. such as add 3/4 water 1/4 alcohol, 1/2 and 1/2, all alcohol. Whatever strength you want.

Sub the cold water for the alcohol of your choice.
Tequila works well with lime jello
Vodka with raspberry
Grand mariner is really good with orange or peach jello
have fun

Follow the package directions, except substitute alcohol for the called for cold water. if you want them even stronger, you can use a higher proof.
