it really depends on your taste and the qualitiy of wine you are drinking. most people prefer red to just drink, but i know many people that like white because it can be more refreshing becasue it is served chilled. it just depends on what you like.

Depends on your palette and what YOU think tastes best. General rule of thumb: red wine goes with red meat (beef) and white wine more with pasta, fish, chicken and white meats. Certain foods will enhance or surpress certain flavors in the wine, so experimentation is necessary to figure what wine compliments the meal best. To me, personally, reds are too overpowering while whites are more subtle; I have a prefernce for whites, specifically Meridian Pinot Grigio.

Both. I prefer red wine, but white is really good with seafood.
Dry wines are the best. Stay away from sweet, dessert or
port wines - yuck!

I really think red wine taste a lot better than white wine. It's sweeter and smoother. But It also depends on what your having for dinner certain wine's go with certain foods.

Let me ask you this:
How many wines have you tried?
Both red and whites have all kinds of tastes depending on the grape and how it's fermented.
If you like sweeter, In reds you'll have a small selection basically Sangrias.
(Note RIUNITE IS NOT A WINE!)
In whites, go with German wines, Chenin Blancs, Johannesburg Rieslings and Sauternes
Dryer wines
Reds: Pinot Noirs, Shiraz, Cabernets and Merlots
Whites:Savignon Blanc, Chardonnays
See if there's any wine tastings in your area. If you're in California it shouldn't be too hard...LOL. But local liquor stores and distributors will have tastings to promote their products. You'll get a better idea what you like and keep them on hand.....

Oh my gosh. Okay. Real simple answer to this one. Try them both. I've worked with wine for a while now. Try everything. That's the only way you will find out which one tastes better to you. But seriously, if you're just starting out, try a "mellow" fruity semi-sweet white (like a chenin or moselle), semi- or fully-sweet rose, or a fruit-driven red (oaked for less than 6 months).
Mooch off your wine drinking friends. That way you get to try lots without committing to the expense, and you can seek out what you like with infinite variation. Go to a winery and try stuff (try NOT to get drunk, and be prepared to buy if you like it).

I like white wine better. If we run across a red wine that is especially bitter or we just can't swallow, we mix it with sierra mist or mountain dew to make a sort of spritzer out of it.

crimson is a sprint stiff for me. a minimum of lots of those I even have tried. I choose Chardonnay individually. yet once you do no longer choose for something too harsh; Riesling (white) is particularly stable and so is Moscato (white). i do no longer think of you may bypass incorrect with the two of the two. in case you opt for a crimson, aim sells one via Cupcake Vineyards stated as crimson Velvet. That one's easily a respectable crimson. additionally, there's a wine stated as Stella Rosa. Tastes candy for a crimson however the alcohol content cloth is particularly low...for me. LOL! yet the two of those selections could be stable on your dinner. happy wine searching!
