I'm planning a wine party and need some suggestions. Whats a creative way to make invitations? I'm planning on inviting about 5 people, how much cheese and crackers will be enough? Because I'm serving alcohol, I also want to serve a heavier food and a few extra munchies. Is it okay to ask people to bring their favorite wine or one they want to try? I plan to have extra bottles on hand. Other then discussing the wine and having girl talk, do you know any fun games we can play (we're between 23-30 y/o). Suggestions please!!!

hi everyone,

everyday for the last month i have always had a bottle of paul massons white wine. i start off at midday and just have small glasses until it is all finished.

it doesnt get me drunk or tipsy, doesnt do anything but i only have one bottle a day and stop at that and have no urge to have any more. i can stop this but when im on my own as i live out in sticks with no busses and i cant drive.

why do i do this. i like to have a bottle a day but i dont think im an alki if i only have one bottle and can stop at that.

what can i do to limit myself. i feel lonely

I have heard from some people that there is a way to tell a good red wine by just looking at the bottle/content. So, how do you know without testing the red wine? Thank you!

I usually check if there is any expiration date on beer bottle but there it is not listed anywhere. What would be the max days/months one can keep the beer in the refrigerator without getting oneself sick after drinking it?

I've herad that some people buy a bottle of wine when a child is born and keep it until she or he turns 21. Is it a special kind of wine that one has to buy or any wine will be vinegar when opened?

I do not drink very often. Not even once a month, and when I do, it's socially. I drank with a friend of mine nad her brother last night and while I'd only ever gotten a good tipsy from alcohol, I suppose you could say that I actually got drunk last night. This morning nothing really hurts, per se, but I am a little nauseous and groggy, and extremely shakey. I assume this is a kind of hangover. Any ideas on how to calm this weird haze I seem to be in down a bit and get my body to steady itself? Thank you.

Rumour has it that Jacobite supporting Scots would toast 'The King/Queen', passing their toasting glass over a glass over water to symbolise the escape to Skye by Bonnie Prince Charlie, over the water. Anyone able to confirm or deny this?

I used to teach in Prague and I fell in love with a beer called Velvet. The only way I can it explain it is that it tastes like a blonde Guinness. It had the same texture, but was a golden ale. I cannot find it anywhere in the States and I am not sure if it can be shipped to me. If anyone has had it or knows how I can get some, it would be appeciated. Thanx.

I like dry wines. I drink more red than white. I am looking for something to save for a while, until I have a nice collection built up.
