As you've just finished work, I would say go for it! However, it's when you look in the fridge (like I do) and see last night's half empty bottle and wonder whether one for breakfast would be acceptable that it's considered a problem!

Go for it , any time day or night the best way to forget and to relax is a glass of wine.

I have a very close friend who was advised to have a drink coming off a night shift to help him sleep. Now he cant go to sleep unless he has had a bottle of wine every night, and he doesnt even work shifts any more. Alcohol actually has an adverse effect on sleeping patterns as well, so even though it may help get you off to sleep - you will not sleep as deeply or restfully. Try a nice warm bath and a cup of hot chocolate or horlicks or something, will work a treat.

Sleep tight!

Not really to early considering the time frame you have been working in. However, I suspect you will be drinking on your own and I don't think that is too healthy. Try some exercise or go to the library and get a book. I think you are bored and everyone else is at work so it is difficult to socialise, try to develop an interest in something else.

Never too early to stop killing yourself! You need to clean your system out by drinking lots of water and being sensible. We are not young for long. Time catches up with us and prevention is always better than the cure. What we do to our bodies when we are young can amount to either being fit or ill when we are old. Respect is the key to a good life. I'm not being a sad person, I've just seen too many of my friends ruin their lives with Alcohol. Moderation, Moderation!!! Take Care now love Deanne xx

i work third shift and when i get home at 630 in the morning i do not feel bad for havin a beer.. the way i look at it is if you wake go to work at night and get off at 7 am that is actually your 7 pm compared to the day workers. Never feel guilty for wanting a drink when you get off work screw the social perception.

If it is too early for a glass of wine, then maybe you should just drink it straight from the bottle.

To early for me, I've just dropped the kids of to school. But not to early for you, if you've been working all night, you need to relax and let your hair down, have a drink.
