Whiskey and Scotch values matter on the time it spent in the barrel. the barrel ages the taste making it worth more. If it was bottled and then sat in the bottle for a long time it will have the same taste as if it were drank when it was first bottled. In other words, 1939 Canadian Club = 2007 Canadian Club.

look, I honestly don't know what unopened bottles of liquor of any type would be worth...

Canadian Club is a premium brand and my hubby's fave, it would be interesting to know the answer to your question...

this was one of the few things I found...they say...that bottles of wine appreciate in value and bottles of liquor don't appreciate however, due to the high alcohol content they don't go bad either...which is a good thing!

the bottom line was, an interested collector may pay a lot at auction but there is no appreciation of value on bottles of hard liquor..
