I do not drink very often. Not even once a month, and when I do, it's socially. I drank with a friend of mine nad her brother last night and while I'd only ever gotten a good tipsy from alcohol, I suppose you could say that I actually got drunk last night. This morning nothing really hurts, per se, but I am a little nauseous and groggy, and extremely shakey. I assume this is a kind of hangover. Any ideas on how to calm this weird haze I seem to be in down a bit and get my body to steady itself? Thank you.

Drink a lot of water, eat a greasy breakfast (something with soft runny eggs), and take pain killers.

You most definitely have a hangover. The best way to cure the shakes is more alcohol - but if you've got stuff to do today that's not an option. Try wolfing down a big greasy breakfast with lots of coffee and follow it up with a little fruit an hour or so later to give you a sugar buzz lift.

The best damn solution to cure a hangover of any kind is to drink a Powerade..........the logic being that, when u get a hangover, its because u r dehydrated, a powerade works wonders on dehydration and get u back to normalcy pretty soon......

Something carbonated , or a bit of the hair of the dog that bit you. Another drink. Jagermeister works well.
