I usually check if there is any expiration date on beer bottle but there it is not listed anywhere. What would be the max days/months one can keep the beer in the refrigerator without getting oneself sick after drinking it?

Yes, most beer needs to be consumed before it ages too much to enjoy the peak freshness. WIth most cheap and commercial beers you should consume within 120 days of brewing. Some wheat beers are best within 4 weeks of carbonation. Barley wine can actually age for a few years and take on a new character as the dead yeast takes on an almost smoky flavor after about a year of aging.

Budweiser is a horrible "beer" and regardless of the born on date should be discarded immediately.

Yes there is an expiration , or a best before date. It does follow 120 days after the "born On " date. It would have to be pretty far past that date to make you sick though. I have friends who are not heavy drinkers that have the same case of beer in the fridge from one Christmas to the next. Although it has aged (both in time and flavor) it hasn't made anyone sick. Refrigeration helps , and so do the preservatives.

absolutely! It is supposed to be be printed on the bottles somewhere. They get stale - generally a year is too long for beer although I know a lot of people that keep it for a long time and don't seem to get sick. Fresher is better with beer - I would't want to drink a beer that was older than 3 - 4 months. There is a reason why that fresh brewery beer tastes so good .

120 days?? Oh yeah?? I'm a bartender now and used to work for Labatt's. Beer, of almost all kinds last 90 days from bottling in bottles and 30 in kegs. It's made with Yeast right? how long does bread last? Not 120 days. Thing is beer is made so you can't tell when it goes bad. You can drink it well after and not know but your body will. Only those that know how to drink beer know. I never touch the stuff. After you know how it's made, you never want it in your body again.

i have answered this question about expiration dates before, but not on beer. a/b had fresh until... other companies/heineken have an import code ...
like i said... every thing has a shelf life!
if unsure contact the company... theyll be glad to tell you.
i buya/b beer and sometimes a can is empty or flat. i contact the co. by 1-800# and have 'collected several t-shirts hats, etc.. usually they will send you a refund PLUS< but not in the state i happen to reside in. this works for ALL MAJOR COMPANIES.
most all brands have a 1-800 # you can SEND A COMMENT TO. this has resulted me in alot of freebies from the companies(coupons, gift cert. clothing with advertisements, ect) i let them know yeah, great product!! or HEY>>> YOUR PRODUCT SUCKS! either way, its marketing and research for the company by actual consumers for free... hey,,, they ask, we need to answer!

You shouldn't get sick from this but the answer is 120 days from the born on date. That date is side of the can or bottle (Budweiser). I would assume it is the same for Heineken.

Heineken - how can you even compare those two? Bud is one of the most watered down flavorless beers every created.
