Beer, Wine & Spirits - December 2006

Personally I enjoy, anything from Johnnie Walker (except Red Label unless i dont have much money), Buchanans 12 and 18 or Chivas Regeal 12 or 18. Let me know which ones you like, and some brands I havent tasted. (If you take your whiskey with something else than water, soda water, straight up or ice dont even answer(ignorant coke lovers)

Would having a drink because you want to negate negative emotions alcohol abuse if you do it once and never again?
Would holding down a job and never getting drunk, yet drinking every night count as alcohol abuse?

I think my neighbor is an alcoholic...her kids eat every day at my mom's house!

can I still be called a Christian?..I mean like after a hard days work, i might come home, and have a couple of beers when the ball game is on. Then I might light up a dubbie, and just take a couple of hits, and be straight..I still go to church occasionally,pray, and read the bible, but is this wrong? Because I personally think Its in moderation(marriage).

My husband drinks every night and I asked him about drinking 0.5% grocery store beer for a few nights. I know there is a little alcohol in it so would he be ok if he was ever pulled over while driving. He would normally drink wine but I've asked him to consider this change mainly because I'm concerned about him driving and drinking. Also he was told today at work he has a urine test coming up in two weeks and has asked me to find out if it would register about 26 hours the next day. He won't drink if it does. Please someone do you know the answers?

Please, I need help in conquering my fears of being sober. There is this fear of going throughout the whole weekend, without wettening my lips with the sweet, sweet nectar of petron tequila.
