Generally, one does not test for alcohol by a urine test. The standard is a venous blood draw. The amount consumed will affect how long after standard sampling it can be detected. However, there is a newer more expensive test that can tell up to after a few days if you have been drinking. IT was reported in the Wall Street journal a few weeks ago, because it was being used to test folk who were not supposed to be drinking. The test is controversial be cause it is so sensitive that even the alcohol in cough syrup can be detected and cause a false positive. (suggesting you were drinking when the contact was mininimal and unintentional.)

I don't think so - it shouldn't.
This is completely irrelated, but I had a friend who was on pot and he would smoke all he wanted until noon, but then as soon as 12:00 hit he would put out his joint and start drinking water. Nonstop. He told me he had to drink 2 gallons of water everyday so that he could pass the drug test his parents gave him when he got home. The sad thing is that he was arrested for parking in a no parking zone. Well, sort of. He was parked in a no parking zone and went into a drugstore to steal cough syrup. When he came out the cops told him to move the car, then asked what was in the trunk so he was arrested and THEN they realized that he had like 15 bottles of cough syrup under his coat. Wow, I haven't told that story in forever. Hope you got a laugh out of it.

No your body can process a unit of alcohol in an hour so you would be well clear after 4 days.

That is the key. The more alcohol you consume, the longer it will take for it to get completely out of your system.
If the outcome of the urine test is important, I would not take the risk. Not worth it.

No, you'll be fine. The only time the amount would affect you days from now is if you drink way, way too much and get alcohol poisoning.

unless you over indulge ie. >3 gallons of beer @ 6.9%, it will not show. alcohol usually clears up in the system with your urine. moderate drinking in one night should clear up in 10 hours max
