I am a big lightweight when it comes to drinking. On Thursday night, I had 4.5 beers and three shots consisting of Contreau, raspberry vodka, and lime juice. I got sick that very night, obviously, and threw up quite a bit. However, two days later, I'm still feeling nauseous. Is this normal? I'm getting paranoid that maybe I'm pregnant, but I doubt this is possible. I was feeling perfectly fine until I drank all of that alcohol. I'm using AlkaSeltzer Morning Relief and eating lots of soup and drinking ginger ale. Granted, my nauseua isn't as bad as it was yesterday but the slight queasiness is annoying, especially when I have a 7 pg paper to write. I'm hoping that others have had equally long hangovers and this is something that time will remedy. In the meantime, any fix-all cures that you can reccommend?

He has a problem since 20yrs old , he like to drink beer, sometime up to 4 jugs of it, recently ( he is 24 now.)m he finds that he has problem with his memories, and everything seens very confusing, like he's doing an action now, then 10 minutes later he could have forgotten what he had done. And he has more or less lost "feeling" in his daily life activitives, how can i help him, is it due to brain shrinkage coz of his alcohol problem?? I heard that excessive alcohol can cause your brain to dehydrate and shrink. Im very worried that something might happen to him if he did not seek help now. Any one pls help me , give me some advise how to hydrate his brains back to its normal state. Thank you very much.

I managed to drink a whole frikin bottle(minus about 3 or 4 shot glasses full) of peach schnapps. The thing is I woke up this morning at 7:15 and was fine aside from being a teeny bit dizzy when I got up, but then that was it. All I ate yesterday was a bag of peanut m&ms,3 tiny brownies, and a mcdonalds double cheeseburger with a small fry and small coke. I am about 105lbs. Why didn't I wake up more hungover(not that I wanted to or nothin) Have I been drinking too much and built up a high tolerance? I feel like an alcoholic is all. I'm sure there has got to be some blood somewhere in my alcohol stream?! Was it because I mixed it with tea maybe and the water in that sobered me up a little or what?

My mom wants to make a hot alchoholic drink for our family get-together this Christmas Eve. Preferably not too strong and it can't have dairy in it because my brother and I are lactose intolerant. Is there such a thing as mulled wine? Does anyone have any ideas?

Can anyone recommend a decent wine that is not too expensive? I have a Christmas party tonight at a friends home, so I need to take a gift for the house. If you can give a price range, it would be helpful.

We discovered last week that he can make ugly chicks hot for extended periods of time and he gives you incredible courage. Also that his arch enemies are Captain Coffee and The Aspirin Avenger (I can't take credit for that one). However I forgot to mention his incredible powers of dehydration and his ability to break up families and fill up jail cells rather quickly. What else can he do???....

I've tried so many times to make an authentic B & T and I even have a pour over turtle thing for pint glasses , but the density of the beers just doesn't want to cooperate with me. Guiness is supposed to be less dense and float on the Bass, the same with something like murphy's irish stout and harp. These mix pretty quickly. Interestingly enough, I've managed to make one successful type that I made up -- It's sam adams ale and Rasputin imperial stout (heavy beer) ; it makes a nice Tan and black with no mixing. Can anyone fill me in on the mystery of the true black and tan.
