I tried some at a Starbucks tasting event and it is quite good all by itself.

On the other hand, I loathe what Starbucks is and has become and I won't buy it because I don't want to support them.

They have a great business model, make big bucks, have high demand and a loyal following but their quality and integrity have plummeted in the past 15 years. Once upon a time they wouldn't sell you coffee that hadn't been roasted within the past 6 days. And it was roasted well. Neither of those is true anymore. Also, they would have you believe that all their coffee is organic and fair trade and precious little of it is. To boot, their roasting quality sucks. I'll buy a cup from them if I can't find anything better but I do all i can to avoid it.

Buy Kahlua instead and find a quality, local roaster who only sells certified fair trade, organic beans. .

I recently tasted it, compliments of the liquor rep.The dark Starbucks liqueur is good, as you would expect real coffee flavour not coffee flavoured candy that some coffee liqueur seem like. It's not overly sweet and syrupy either. Very much worth the money. A+
The Starbucks cream liqueur is pleasant as well. Although coffee is listed among the ingredients I didn't taste any coffee flavour. It's a rum based liqueur as opposed to the whisky based Bailey's, so perhaps a little smoother going down. I imagine it would be very nice in a coffee drink, up to you on whether it's worth the bucks.

I love it!
I use it in almost any drink that kaluha was called for because I'm really not a fan of kaluha!

If you haven't tried it, go to a bar and ask for a white russian with the starbucks liquor instead and vanila vodka

Starbucks liquor is awesome. I work in a bar and we mix it with a bunch of different things. It is more versatile than bailey's or Kahlua and can substitute for both in a recipe like a black Russian or white Russian. My favorite is Starbucks and cream or Starbucks on the rocks.

I just tried it about 30 minutes ago at the liquor store in Penfield NY. They Mixed it with Vodka and made a shop. It was okay but I see a cheaper way of having a good stiff cup of coffee like adding Baileys or Chambord. Definitely thumbs down.

I have tryed it before. It has a very interesting taste. A mix of coffee and liquor as you very well expect. It has a strong taste of both. I really enjoyed it and from my experience you can get really toasted really fast off it lol. I suggest you do like I did and spring for the small bottles for like 4 bucks at the liquor store to try it out.

I have drank it both ways. I am actually not a real big fan but if I had to drink it everyday, it goes best in coffee and is truly meant to be drank in moderation. I have drank it on the rocks but, it wasn't great. One of my favorites with any cream liquor is to mix it with leftover flat coke. I always have a left over 2 liter in my fridge after the guys come over and we drink rum or whiskey and coke. when it is flat it mixes very well with the cream liquors!

I Have tried it and loved it!!!!
You mix 1 part each of the cream and the liquer and 1/2 part vanilla vodka for a mudslide martini. Best drink I've had in a long time.
