A man walks into a bar and orders a 12-year-old scotch.
The bartender, believing that the customer will not be able to tell the difference, pours him a shot of the cheap 3-year-old house scotch that has been poured into an empty bottle of the good stuff.
The man takes a sip and spits the scotch out on the bar and reams the bartender. “This is the cheapest 3-year-old scotch you can buy. I’m not paying for it. Now, give me a good 12-year-old scotch.”
The bartender, now feeling a bit of a challenge, pours him a scotch of much better quality, 6-year-old scotch. The man takes a sip and spits it out on the bar. “This is only 6-year-old scotch. I won’t pay for this, and I insist on, a good, 12-year-old scotch.”
The bartender finally relents and serves the man his best quality, 12-year-old scotch.
An old drunk from the end of the bar, who has witnessed the entire episode, walks down to the finicky scotch drinker and sets a glass down in front of him and asks, “What do you think of this?”
The scotch expert takes a sip, and in disgust, violently spits out the liquid yelling “Why, this tastes like piss,”
The old drunk replies, “That’s right, now tell me how old I am.”

I just posted a question about drinking about 45 mins ago (Thanks for the replies everyone!) However, now i'm nervous? The previous question asked if drinking was really bad for health ect for an 18 yr old. Some people said its really not that bad untill you get out of control/drunk (which i dont plan on being) , however , some said my brain cells will be gone ! haha..umm. i guess im really just wondering if my brain will really lose cells? Will i become like brain dead or something? i dont drink that much. im a college student. i dont plan on getting trashed..i'll probably be drinking tomorrow night and the weekend after columbus day. Thanks for helping a girl out everyone!

I am an 18 yr old college student who lives away from home. I've never really drank much , maybe had one or two mixed drinks before (like..some vodka w/ OJ) but never much more. Many college students drink all the time, but I havent been to any 'college parties' yet..anyhow, i'm going to my best friend's college 2morrow and we're going to a party. i was wondering if drinking is extremely bad? I mean, the drinking age used to be 18..we arent driving anywhere (we don't have cars on campus!) Will it really mess my head up in life? Is it bad for me to have some drinks? Thanks in advance for your thoughts and time!
