I have made one of those infamous 'bets' in my local pub on Saturday night that I can walk 50 miles in 12 hours.

The terrain is fairly flat, and it is planned for next Saturday at 6am.

Does anyone think I can do it?

No training, (apart from what I do this weekend), other than that I am a keen cyclist, and am fairly strong at it too.

What do we think people!??

I was at a wedding last night and i thought my parents were wasted. my cousin and i are the same age at 16. we were both by the end of the night pretty wasted. i think my parents saw me have a few beers and they didnt say anything. they also remember the night better than i do. I dont know if they knew i was wasted but i also dont think they cared because of the occasion.

I believe it has almost evey liqour on the speed rack with a spoonful of mayo and possibly more?? I am a bartender but have never witnessed the drink. Anyone know of this?

Back in '72 , I was in the Navy stationed in the PI. The USS Oriskany came in and my friend from Boot Camp showed up. I got drunk for the first time. The last thing I remember was asking the barkeep not to put so much Coke in my Rum and Coke. I woke up on the Oriskany and it was out at sea. Anyone have a funny first drunk story?
