Has anybody ever tripped or had hallucinations after drinking Absinthe!!?

Absinthe is not illegal !! You can even buy it with a reduced alcohol content. I've also been to the original Absinthe factory in Formentera and it's a very interesting place.

True people have reported that Absinthe has hallucinagenic properties but generally most of these stories are complete folklore.

I've drunk Absinthe many many times and I've not once hallucinated.

People have done many things on a variety of alcoholic beverages but Absinthe seems to hold the number one position in the most widely exaggerated drunken story-telling bullshit charts.

I did fall backwards into a bush midsentence once after drinking Absinthe with a friend, all I saw was erm................................. bits of bush - No Pixies, No flying Elephants, No brightly coloured aeroplanes with chicken pilots..............just bits of bush.

Absinth(e) is NOT illegal to posses in the USA. Only to manufacture or sell. Why all the fear mongering about this stuff??!! 90% of the chit posted about absinth is from persons who have a)never tried the real stuff, b)never tried any absinth, c) want to scare you from doing anything THEY feel is immoral/wrong/bad, or d) just plain made up.
There are many fake absinth(e)s out there. If it is not made with wormwood, it ain't real! The real stuff is only made in CZ. Check the product info for the thujon content....this is what makes you happy (at least it does me). If they do not mention thujon, it probably doesn't have any and is not the real deal. The true absinth(e) most certainly does have the ability to alter your state of mind in a manner very similar to shrooms (so I hear). As with anything - enjoy in moderation and it is a great time. In meddival times right on up to about 1940 one of the maine ingredients in absineth was a root called worm wood. Worm wood case a chemical effect in the brain that would cause the drink to see things or hallucinate. They dont make it with worm wood any more becuase it was messing people up and it a very dangerous herb to ingest. Now a days it will just seriously **** you up and faster than other booz i have tried. If you put in absinthe suppliers into googel you can find loads of peopel who import just make sure to buy it from the ceck republic cause then its the real deal.

Hi my son bought a bottle of this home last year & poured a small glassful out he said drink it straight done I had 10 glasses of this he was waiting for me to go loopy , I asked him if it was alcholic? he laughed !! I had the whole bottle & nothing happened?? It must have been green water? This happened with a strong Cider I bought in a box 8% 3 litres , I drank 4 pints & it was like drinking water? Now if it was JD I would have been pissed as a newt ??

No hallucinations no...but got absolutely leathered.....was absolutely out of it-we did manage to do a bottle between three of us in about an hour and I wouldnt recommend it.....was severely wasted...

I hate o be a pansy, but that crap is illegal for a reason. It isn;t pot or E or even Cystal. That stuff can seriously f.. you up. 1 out of 1000 are allergic. If that is you (or anyone you give it to), they will almost guanantee, drop dead where they stand.
