I was at a wedding last night and i thought my parents were wasted. my cousin and i are the same age at 16. we were both by the end of the night pretty wasted. i think my parents saw me have a few beers and they didnt say anything. they also remember the night better than i do. I dont know if they knew i was wasted but i also dont think they cared because of the occasion.

as long as you weren't falling down drunk or sick you should be ok. They probably saw you drinking, and would of said something to you if you were getting out of hand. They probably knew you weren't feeling any pain.

If you are getting wasted, you aren't mature enough to drink, even at a special occasion. Had your parents been stopped on the way home, even if you were not driving, in many states you could lose your right to drive for several years and face stiff fines and penalties.
As for your parents, the right thing to do would be to discuss it with them.

how are your parents? Meaning, would they be more interested in you being honest about being wasted, or would they be appauled that you would drink? My husband caught his daughter smoking weed and took her for Taco Bell after she told him what she did, he didn't say it was OK, but he did want her to know that she should tell him rather than hide it and have worse things happen - like getting drunk and raped at some house party. It made a difference in their relationship

They probably got drunk so they could forget about you. Teen's are a pain in the ***.

Btw, you can try to act sober but its the smell on your breath that always gives you away even if you haven't had a lot.

Wow. Taco Bell is so bad it's considered a punishment for smoking a joint. Bet they don't put that on their ads.

they might have know but thankfully you where at a wedding if i were you i probably wouldn't try that no other time. unless they actually don't care
