Has anyone ever had a REAL FEAST - like you see in the movies set in medieval / roman times. The sort which goes on for days, where everyone sits at a long table. There would be at least 20 people there.
Loads and Loads of food and drink. The type of feast where People would eat with their hands and a man would bite into a whole leg of roasted lamb - straight from the bone. If you feel like eating some chicken, you just grab a whole roasted chicken and take a few bites off it. None of the knife and fork stuff here. (A real man would have grease and bits / vomit stuck in his beard) Then there would be ale and everyone would drink more and more ale.
Of course there would be modern entertainment - music / television in the background. With comfortable seating etc.
After everyone has a belly full and skin ful, then people go to sleep and awake the next morning to start the second , third days of feasting.
Have you ever enjoyed a real feast like this? (A simple xmas meal cannot count).
