I have a pack of uncooked boneless chicken tenders that I uaually dip in egg and breadcrumbs and deep fry but that is getting boring. I need some ideas on what I can do with the chicken and i have some BBQ sause but when I bake it in the oven with the BBQ sause it usually turns out dry, how can I cook it with it not being dry?

What's your favorite food combination that sounds gross but is really good.
For example I like cottage cheese and dill pickle chips smashed together.
Or mashed potatoes and ketchup...

I recently became a vegetarian and I'm having trouble finding food that doesn't include meat. I'm having the same meals every day.

Note: I do not eat seafood. I do eat eggs.

Why isnt yogort pasturized when buttermilk and sour cream are?

And by that I mean buttermilk and sour cream both use bacterial cultures to sour them, but are pasturized before going to the store. Yet yogort still has live bacterial cultures in it. (All three are pasturized as milk before being proccessed of course though)

Why is it nececary for yogort bacteria to remain alive while buttermilk and sourcream can be killed?

I'm asking this because I only had a little bit of buttermilk left, so I mixed in regular milk and left it on the counter overnight, yet the next day it was still just regualr milk. I inspected the package to discover that it was pasturized.

And sour cream, I think most commercially avalible sour creams are artificially soured, but my question is really more about buttermilk vs yogort. Why one has live bcteria but the other does not.

It's a 16 oz package. I don't have the proper pan. I am going to try it anyways, but I am a widowed male, and need all the cooking help I can get. (there are no plastic handles on the pan anymore). No college kids please. I know what a sense of humor they can have. Oh hell, go ahead, I can handle it. Thanks a lot guys.

Obviously I fried mines for too long last night. The inside was fine but the cornmeal was so crispy, it crunched like a thick potato chip! My first experience was better, but I can't remember how long I cooked it.

Can you re-use the oil? Are you supposed to filter it if you do. Best answer 10 points by the end of the hour.

Thanks!

I remember, years ago, reading something somewhere about an old Irish tradition of soaking oats in milk or water and leaving them that way overnight, whereupon in the morning the cooking time wouldn't be so long, and, more importantly, the oats would be much more assimilable and healthy. Is there any truth to this? I eat oats and mixed-grain flakes often enough, being Celtic in ancestry, so I want to make sure I'm getting the most caloric and nutritional bang for my bites. Maybe you've done some soaking of grains yourself? Thanks in advance.
