...would they be more impressed if I microwaved a TV dinner, cooked instant pudding, or reheated some McDonald's for them?

Keep in mind that this is the big Christmas dinner, and that my parents have never visited me in Canada yet; so, I need to impress them with my cooking skills! I just want to start planning for their visit ahead of time!

Why do they have to chop them up? Why can't they just be like the other places and put a ring of onion on the sandwich? Everytime I go to McDonald's I have to tell them not to put onions on my burger but because they are those stupid little chopped up things they always end up with 2 or 3 on there. And yes, I hate onions. If I even lick one I gag. Why can't they just put a ring of onion on it?
