Singles & Dating - 11 June 2007

The past 2 months have been the happiest of my life. My bf has been so caring and concerned about me.We had so many great times together and he understands me unlike anyone else, but lately he's been treating me like crap. He used to call and text me everyday but he doesn't do it anymore. Sometimes we even go a whole day without talking. When I call him he's either busy or doesn't pick up. He also doesn't reply my text messages.I took a hint and asked him if he wanted a break from our relationship and he told me that he couldn't possibly live without me and he doesn't want me to leave him. I feel like he doesn't care about me anymore to and he's not the person I used to know. I thought about leaving him but the thought just kills me inside because I love him so much. I know I deserve much better but I miss the person he used to be and I'm hoping everyday that things will be normal again. Is this just wishful thinking? Should I leave him for good?

My best friend got engaged about 7 months ago. He has been with the girl for about 3-4 years. She he isn't that bright compared to him (she has been working at Taco Bell/waitressing and he is a Chemical Engineer). She also does not feel comfortable around his friends. Anyways - his mother passed away from cancer a year ago and it has been hard on him. Just a few months ago the girlfriend wanted to leave him and I think she cheated on him as well. He is somewhat of an obsessive compulsive and wouldn't let her leave him so I kinda guess they are still going through with the wedding. But how do I convice him that he can't do it - especially if she has cheated on him and wants to leave him. He may be doing himself more harm than good and may take all his money if they get divorced someday. He has always had trouble being single.

HELP!

My boyfriend is very sweet and romantic, but the problem is he's in love with his computer games and I am usually sitting around being the audience. I don't want to stop him from playing because he does spend time with me, but how can I get him to cut the gaming a little short? It feels to me like I would be telling him to give up his only son!

Honestly I haven't thought about her in weeks until one of my friends parents asked "Oh, have you talked with your girlfriend since you came home from overseas? I know she got married and all...Well, don't worry about it. He's cute, but you're cuter."

It's been a frickin long time--a couple of years. I've been out with countless other girls, but the only one I want is the one I can't have.

What I'm wondering is: Does it ever honestly stop hurting? Or is it going to bring bittersweet memories every time I think of it for the rest of my life?

whats the one thing that greatly makes up your personality that you just hate and wish you could change about yourself, and maybe have even tried to change, but you just cant....nothing about appereance, just personality defects! mine is my temper....sometimes i just fly off the handle becuase of nothing signifcate, that and i get pissed. really pissed at stupid little things that dont mean anything...something that i know i need to work on more, but just cant.....u guys have anything like that?

I have known this guy for about 8 days, and he have been inseperable! He is awesome to me, treats me with a lot of respect in every form, and he is a blast to be with. We hold hands or he puts his arm around me all the time in public, and we kiss. The best part: When he says he is gonna call, he really does! He has even introduced me to his family (aunts, grandparents, parents...) and everything is going so great. We have so much in common.
He has left for a business trip today, and will not be back for a few days, and he is planning on taking me out again. Does this kinda sound like he may be in the mindset that he wants a relationship? I know a lot of the time girls seem to over analyze a situation, but I was just wondering what you guys think...

like if someone cuts him off in traffic, he's pissed off for 5 hours..... He gets moody and quiet, but won't talk about what's bothering him......if I leave or go away from him when he's like that he calls me over and over and over apologizing saying he just wants me to be in his company, but not to talk about it.....what can I do? I am 28 years old...have not had many relationships. Dated alot of guys but I guess I am a bit relationship stupid.

Anyway...I started talking to this guy I met on myspace...we literally had conversations that lasted for hours for a few days before we decided to go out. We went out...had a great time.everything went really well...there was none of the normal first date nervousness or anything. The next week we talked almost every day and saw each other a couple more times ...but then this past week-end I tried to call him to see if he wanted to do something Saturday night and he never got back to me...now it is Monday and I have not heard from him.

Like I said...I am a bit relationship stupid....is this normal? Mostly the guys I date just want to sleep with me so they run whenever I call but this guy is different. Any advice would be most appreciated.

whenever me and my friends go out my friends get all of the attention from the guys.every guy i've ever met either likes my friend and no one has any interest in me whatsoever. No one approaches me.I don't understand i am nice. why can't guys see this?i recently started to think i was attractive but i'm not up myself about it. My boyfriend and I got into a fight the other night and he said sarcastically that I was a good girlfriend (situation is difficult to explain-why we were fighting) so basically he called me a bad one. I've been trying to find ways to be a "better" girlfriend..... Have any ideas on how I can be a better girlfriend even when he apologized and such? He said he didn't mean it but it still is there and he still said it and makes me feel as if I really am a bad girlfriend.......

i was on my bussiness trip to europe and australia for a couple of month.and my fiance is livin in Paris.im livin L.A.her parents home is in L.A.So L.A is our homebase.The last time we met is on March. When i went to Paris to see her for 2 nite and also for my job.She have a apartment there,and that nite,she wanted me to stay there.But my client,already gave me a free night on a great hotel,and i told him okay,When my fiance knew about that,she is really mad!and im tryin to explain to her.We've a fight on that nite!i left her in her aprtment.I felt so guilty!In the next mornin ,i flied to Rome,and started my buss.trip.Because of that things,for this couple of month we didnt really have a good conversation.Last week i came back home to L.A and so does she.We still dont talk too much,while we hang in the same spot and the same friends.

Really not had any contact with my ex since HE broke up with ME three months ago. Last week he called to tell me how much he missed me and we ended up sleeping together. The way we left things was great. Flash forward to this weekend....he had a party at his place that he invited me to after we slept together. When I got there he basically ignored me and barely said a word to me all night. So when he was alone and the party was clearing out, I went downstairs to ask him why he was acting sooo strangely...to which he responded that he hadn't wanted me there at all, and basically just started spewing really mean things. i told him that it wasn't right to do that because i had never done a mean thing to him. He ended up physically pushing me out of his apt and locking me out. I regret doing this at a party at his house, but I really feel like I needed to stick up for myself, and I really feel like he was out of line in his response, as I approached him calmly. Thoughts?

What would you do if your 6 year old wanted a mohawk? Would you snarl up your nose or let him do it? I mean , come on ............. it's just hair! you can shave it off and it grows back.
