My boyfriend is very sweet and romantic, but the problem is he's in love with his computer games and I am usually sitting around being the audience. I don't want to stop him from playing because he does spend time with me, but how can I get him to cut the gaming a little short? It feels to me like I would be telling him to give up his only son!

Yea, I've done things like walk around in just my underwear, and that works. I've also played with him. But I don't know if it sounds selfish or not, but there are times where we would hang out and he's on it, and I just want to rip the cords out the wall!

Don't give him the audience. You are making things too easy for him and he's taking you for granted. Stop being available for his video game sessions or anything else. Make him pursue you a little. You deserve it! And believe it or not, men really DO like to pursue. It's why so many men have affairs. They don't always understand that about their own psyche, but it's definitely there.

Just tell him that you'd like him to spend more time with you. Don't nag or whine, but just put it to him gently.
If you've already done this, then the best way to get his attention is to find the sexiest (or rauchiest) set of underwear you can find. Get new stuff, since you want something that'll attract his attention. Stand in front of his computer & tell him that you've got a game for him that is more interactive & fun than the one he's playing. Do "it" somewhere spontaneous, maybe even at his computer desk- make sure that the next time he sits down there he'll definately think of you!

How old is he? He needs to get out and away from the computer screen. Well since you said that he does spend time with you then I think that he should have time to spend to himself on the computer, just not when your over. That's kinda rude with you just sitting there doing nothing. He should play on the computer when he's by himself.

I think most guys are in love with their video games ha ha ;)
I had to tell my man that hes been playing for awhile and that its my time now :) He doesn't mind because he knows that he can forget how long he has been playing so I just do a little reminder for him.

Maybe you could ask him for lessons so that you could learn why he is so obsessed about it. Ask him to teach you everyday for half and hour and ask him if at the end of the lesson you could go out and do something you want to do...

as he is playing just jump on his lap or something.
or just ask him if he would like to take a walk or cook something instead of playing the game
or maybe.... you could try playing? if you relate to him that way it might make him happy :)
