Because they want to, and they can get a guy. Maybe if you got a bf, you'd stop being a b**ch. I have a 14 year old niece who's dating her first bf, and if anyone called her a "whore", they'd get the mother of all slaps. Oh, and she's been dating for 3 months, not 10 minutes

This is because of media, ie. Internet, TV, magazines, etc. This can be peer pressure as well. Kids thought this is cool, but it is not, maybe their parents don't have time to explain it to them when they're young.
