I am 28 years old...have not had many relationships. Dated alot of guys but I guess I am a bit relationship stupid.

Anyway...I started talking to this guy I met on myspace...we literally had conversations that lasted for hours for a few days before we decided to go out. We went out...had a great time.everything went really well...there was none of the normal first date nervousness or anything. The next week we talked almost every day and saw each other a couple more times ...but then this past week-end I tried to call him to see if he wanted to do something Saturday night and he never got back to me...now it is Monday and I have not heard from him.

Like I said...I am a bit relationship stupid....is this normal? Mostly the guys I date just want to sleep with me so they run whenever I call but this guy is different. Any advice would be most appreciated.

Several possibilities come to mind:

If he thinks that you are relationship material, then he is in no hurry to sleep with you. He assumes that you will, probably, still be around tomorrow, or next week, or next year, and he doesn't want to blow his chances by acting like a sleaze who is after only one thing.

He might have religious or personal beliefs that forbid him from having sex before marriage, or at least not before making a commitment to date exclusively, so he has no desire to run over and jump into bed because he isn't ready to make a major commitment yet.

If he just met you, then he probably does not want to spend a lot of time with you anyway, as he doesn't have any special emotional attachment to you just yet, and he probably has other things to do, and other friends to see. He probably has a real life outside of myspace.

When men get older, their sex drive diminishes anyway, so don't expect him to act like an oversexed teenager who cannot wait to jump into bed.

He might be dating other women, just to see who is really right for him. If he just had sex with someone else, then he is in no hurry to have sex again (Ha! I knew that you were waiting for that one! Most women are paranoid.). If you want to know if he is seeing other people, then just ask. Most men will actually tell you the truth if you are brave enough to ask in a calm, non-judgmental tone.

That's all that I can think of off the top of my head.

===edit==

One more point, there are relationship books out there that advise men not to call back too soon, or see you too often, least he seem to be too desperate, and thus lose your attention by becoming too familiar too soon.

If he actually read some of these books (and there is no way to know if he has or not), then his tactic is apparently working. Look at how much time you are spending thinking about him, because you are trying to figure him out.

I think you are lacking feminine allure. You need guys to be chasing you, it is a turn off for a girl to be chasing a guy.

If my attraction to a girl is borderline the best thing for her to do is let me know she is very interested, but then back off and act like she has an interesting and busy life. If a guy gets the feeling early on that he has become the only thing in your life, he is going to run for the hills.

the only reason women date men is cuz we hav no idea how they function..its all cuz of curiosity..
give him some more time..its only been a few days d last thing u want is for him to think ur d clingy kind..cuz no matter how mature u think men r it always comes down to that...u just met him so give him some space let him call u..dnt sit around waitin..if there are many guys out there who wanna sleep wid u...u must b attractive so go out n find another one..lifes too short to b sittin around waitin for someone u jst met..

I think he thinks you are moving too fast for him. Back off - if he wants to see you again - he'll ask. He knows you like him.
