Singles & Dating - 1 April 2007

I'm good-looking,but not great looking.Let me put it this way,I could probably be a model if I lost my love handles,and lightened the area around my eye.I dress well,I'm mature,nice,quiet but strong-willed,intelligent,and romantic.I can be funny sometimes,but I'm no comedian.I'm just an average good guy.What is it that makes me attract taken girls?
I don't seem to meet many single ones that aren't total sluts at bars and such.They obviously flirt.On one extreme case,one girl slapped my butt(in a playful way) and squeezed my leg. Sometimes more subtle,like saying hi just to be and staring alot.It's always a "serious" relationship she's in too.Well,she always thinks it's serious.I think that some of these girls may just be too young to notice it's a fling.I always lose touch by the time they break it off with their boyfriends(The guy is always a jerk.)...if they even do.This is one of 2 pet peeves dating-wise.

My girl cheated on me. (to put it short) She lied to my face, but finally admitted it when i told her without a doubt i know she did. At what point should i forgive her-if any? Is there anything that she would/could do that would validate me forgiving her?

Well, a month and a half ago I was engaged, life was perfect and I was happier than I have ever been. But, my fiancee said one day he just stopped loving me and that he'd been "living a lie" for a couple of weeks. Since then he's been nothing but mean and rude to me and has told all of our friends he was only with me for sex. But somehow all I want is to be with him again. Is this normal? Or is it just me being dramatic about the whole thing? What do you think?

every two weeks we switch seats in our class. I have already been put next to this girl 4 times. Evey time for two weeks she is massively flirting with me. But whenever we are not sitting next to eachother, its all i can do to get her to look at me. Right now we are not sitting next to eachother and she is ignoring me. What gives?

So I was wondering how you could possibly if you decide you want to date someone based on a single kiss... see this girl I really like, was at a movie with me. We kinda made out through alot of the movie, like...alot... sometimes she wanted to but others she moved in but changed her mind. Then towards the end of the movie we had this one big long make out thingy and she held my hand the rest of the night. Today I heard from a friend that she told him that she decided she just wanted to be friends with me because she didnt feel a "spark".. I mean wtf a "spark".. to me it was amazing and I mean she kept kissing me the whole night.. so it couldnt have been that bad, plus the last time we kissed she said I was a good kisser... So there is a guy in school he's like the guy that everyone likes ... My friend really likes him and i kind of do too.. i've never told anyone that i like him... and my best friend always teases him because he doesn't have this great history ... he's a very shy and quite person which makes it hard for me to talk to him... thats the first year that i talk to him... how can i know if he likes me without asking him... and if he doesn't how can i make him like me because im going insane.... and i cant talk to my friend about him because one of them truely loves him and the other has a very bad point of view about him and sincerely i tend to tell the girl that hates his traits bad qualities about him because other wise it would be obvious that i like him... please help me... i have 1000 reosens not to like him but i cant help it... i like him more everyday...

I've recently started dating a new guy, and although we are very similar I'm very aware of the fact that I'm 20 and he's 32. I'm very mature for my age (will qualify as a Doctor in 2 years) but still I'm worried that our expectations of the relationship may be different. I am not looking for a father figure, and I don't think he's after a "trophy girlfriend" but I don't want to get hurt.

when i first met him i didn't really think much about him at all but now he's getting to be one of my better firends he's sweet funny, charming, smart, strong , considerate, supporting, when i'm with him i can't help but smile when he touches or holds me my eyes light up and i get like butterflies i get a little jealous when i se him with another girl ( he and i are kinda just friends ight now) i hate weekends now because it's like the only time i'm away from him and i'm waiting to get back to school to see him guys from before don't matter neither does the pain they caused me all i do is think of him and when i do i feel like i'm walking on cloud 9 and i feel ten times better than that when i'm with him on top of that he's such a good friend like i can just be myself and kick it with him and we'll laugh about anything or talk about anything he's just great i dunno what i'm feeling for him but i know i've never felt it for anyone else before whats this thing i'm feeling for him?

Im 27 and moved out of my parents house at the start of this year into a housing association flat. Its nice and a blessing which I accept. But i'm fed up of being alone. I had councelling two years ago because of a guy who took advantage of me for my money. This situation had made me ill. To this day It still makes me feel lonely and sick to have someone do thid to me.

I met a guy who is similar and smokes a lot of weed. He isnt taking my money but he doesnt really phone me, and im luck to see him once a week. when hes around its nice that he cuddles me lots etc.

Im always told im attractive but I cant seem to find some guy who is worth my time and wants to phone me a bit more often as well as put in time for me.

Its really getting me down to a point were im suicidal. The problem is I still have love for the first guy but he aint worth my time.

Im trying to think positive and forget about guys but i wanna settle down and have kids one day and it looks bleak..
