Singles & Dating - 23 March 2007

I've been prety moody lately. Thinking how awkward my social life was in High school and how it set me up to be the person I am today. I was the scruffy looking guy out of the whole bunch. I was a scrawny 95 lbs weakling with a messed up haircut. No girls would have dated me back then. My family's economic status plus my parents over protective nature and their lack of understanding about the importance of teenage social life didn't help either. Now in my mid 20s, I want to find a decent girl to get into a relationship with, I find it difficult. Finding the currage to ask for a phone # is extremely painful. The few dates that I've gone on, I went on with girls who are either psycho or are either thinking of me as a rebound. The dates what I'm interested in, I dont' know how to keep it hott and interesting. A 14 yr old can probably make better moves than I do. I'm only begining to fumble and learn what most people fumble through in teenage years. Oh..This cruel world!!!!!!

with love? friends? coworkers? i think that i tend to be a little bit on the jealous side. but this only seems to make itself apparent when i am feeling stagnant. or someone makes me feel that i am inadequete in some way. what is it like for other people?

I have been with this guy for about 10 months now...and i just cant handle the way he is, he is so hard headed sometimes, and just wants me to shutup and stay quiet whenever we have an arguement, he doesnt want me to go to college, or getting a job and just wants me to stay home all day with nothing to do...N he wants to know every single move i make like literally if i get online without telling him he'll get mad and make it a big deal, he's so overprotective, I can go on and on about him and how much i feel...feel free to IM me on my yahoo messanger...

Hi! I'm 19 years old and my boyfriend, who is only Spanish speaking, is 24. I am bilingual, and I love him with all of my heart. We have been best friends for a year now and have been dating for a month and a half. We spend almost every night together, since we both work and I am in school, that is the only time we have together. My family and friends hate that I am dating him, and they told me to just drop him. He has been nothing short of wonderful to me, yet they can't stand the fact that he only speaks Spanish and also has a child from when he was very young. I feel empty without him in my life, and they don't understand this. They make snide comments and told me that they will NEVER approve of him, and they haven't even met him because of this. I am lost as to what to do. I understand that there are many obstacles in our relationship, but he's too important in my life to just give up on it. Any advice? What should I do?!

2 nights ago, she tells my roommate that she has a lot of fun when we hangout but she has this small crush on this other guy. but at the same time she likes being single. and then my friend asks her if we like each other and she says no. was she just being defensive or was it the truth? the girl and i have been flirting and talking a lot for the last month and when she started dating another guy she didnt want to tell me, but as soon as they were going to break up, that was the first thing that she said to me when i got back from vacation.

Do you henestly think it should matter? And what do you think you are implying when you hold the door open for her or offer her a seat?

my idea of a physically cute guy is Chingy or Ludacris. I kind of like the rough, thuggish type of thing, as long as it isn't overboard. Some preppy guys are cute, but they are too goody-goody for me, I like the guys who don't have to dress preppy to look cute. I like a guy who's light brown-skinned or light-skinned, with a really nice, in shape body (as long as he isn't too toned), and nice, straight, perfect teeth, and either a low cut, or braids, or their hair just looking nice and neat (no dreadlocks), and I just can't resist a sexy voice.

Ok, so I like this boy, Dylan, he's my best friend and I haven't told him. I've liked him for years, but I'm too chicken to say anything. I tell my friends I'm over him, but when I hear his voice I just know. He always makes laugh and is so nice. (And cute!) But, there's this other boy, Garret. We talked a little a school and myspace and then, just started telling each other everything. After a while, he told me he liked me and we just talked more. I told him I was "unsure" if I liked him or not. Me and him talk about not just gossip, but unlike me and dylan, life. The type of things we would never tell anyone else. But, I'm still not sure. He said we would still be friends if we broke up but is it wrong to date someone when you might (might) like someone else more but are trying hard to get over them?

This guy who i went out on a first date with- i had a good time, the second time he told me he would have his friend drive him to a bar we were meeting each other at.. Well i got there and his friend was there but i didnt see him, i met his friend before so i tried being friendly with him-he wasnt friendly to me.. Then my date showed up-he was in the bathroom.. I felt uncomfortable hanging out with the two of them,, my date asked me if i want to leave-i said ok and his friend drove us back to his place to just hang out... then i took a cab home..
Why would a guy do this?

Hi I'm Blue Eyed Girls friend and I had a boyfriend not to long ago. But I broke up with him because he was being a jerk to some of my guy friends because he thought they liked me. He was way to over protective. When a guy would hit on me he would want to start a fight with them. Its been about 2 weeks now sine we have been broken up. Me and my boyfriend have been together completely for over a year. A year ago i had a baby and i gained some weight and got a TON of stretch marks ALL OVER my body.....im quite pale too so they are still bright red...and i think its sooo gross..but he says it doesnt bother him and that he still likes me for the way i am! Could this be true?

Could he really not mind what has happened to my body ever since the baby? I mean really, It sounds so crazy to me. but i know looks arent everything...its just that i cant even have completely nude sex anymore because im so unconfortable about my body, and he wishes it wasnt like that.... but im thinking that if he did see me fully nude, hed be like, GROSS and hate it.....

What do I do?!

We were supposed to go for dinner tonight after a month of talking on the phone and im and in all caps she's incoherently telling me she is tired of people's drama and stuff and she's just not making sense. I detected she'd be trouble, so I told her I'd give her space.

She said COOL. Why is she being like this when she wanted to see me so bad? Is this a warning sign?

they have got everything...like...house.. car..lots of friends..bf..
i know its crazy and kiddish to think this way.. but i cant lie to myself that i don't want these things..I know for real that i can never effort to buy a car or a house..i have no rights to like most of the guys, cause i know it will never be possible because of my financial status..life sucks.. why is life not fair to everybody..
