Honestly, everyone I know who has been in a relationship has been either cheated on, or done the cheating! I don't get it, is being in a monogomous (spelling?) relationship really that difficult?

This guy at work knows I like him, everyones told me he was happy that I did like him but its been more than a week since then and I don't know why I'm not on a first date already! We did see each other a lot especially at work band practice and its obvious we both like each other. So is he just dragging his feet or what? Should i be the one to ask him on a date?? Ok I have an embarrasening situation to discuss. Recenlty I have had several teenage girls flirting with me that I teach when I subsitute teach.

I really am actually enjoying this, because I am 5'4" and usually girls don't pay attention to me, but they are just teenage kids.

One girl has been very persistant and she is just a 14 year old girl. She tells me how cute I am and that she really likes me. She hid behind my desk and started throwing erasers at me and laughing and smiling at me, then she kicked my chair and nocked me off. Next she proceeds to want to poke me with a ruler. She came up to me today and asked who I subbing for today and followed me all around school all day.

This other girl when I was supervising lunch blurted out, "oh look their is our sub who has a really cute butt." I feel extemely embarrased. Several other teachers overheard this girl say this to me and I felt like pissing my pants.

Ok. Here is the situation. I liked this girl.(We will name her Sam) Sam always flirted with me and it seemed as if she liked me because she was always confiding in me whenever we talked to each other. Say i would flirt with her, she would flirt right back times 10. I was super-confident in that she liked meso i told her friend who is also my friend that I liked her. Needless to say the whole fiasco turned horrbly awry when she found out. She shot me down horribly and pretty much ruined my reputation. I need advice on an issue:

Firstly, it's a girl asking this. I'm dating this guy who is three years older than me; it's a long distant relationship. The start of the relationship was great; we talked long hours on the phone and everything was fun, sweet, and cool. But lately everything has been going downhill; it's begining to get boring (at least for me), so i was just wondering if anyone had ideas on how to rekindle a long distant relationship? Also, it just occured to me; will i know if he starts cheating on me ... are there any signs ... it's my first long distant relationship, so i was just wondering. I really want this to work because he's such a great guy and I absolutely love him; i just don't want to be blinded by my love for him.
