I think they are just curious. Maybe their parents won't talk with them on this subject...or they are too embarrassed to ask their parents. This fits in with my philosophy, you have a limited time to influence and shape your children...when their friends opinions become more important than yours...you are out of time.

When I was younger, I could careless about the opposite sex except for picking on them.

It's all that crazy mixed up adolesant talk... there's no such thing... Just adults confusing the kids. They need to be out roller skating or learning something other than sex and anything related to it.

After sex Ed was introduced it seems like kids started wanting to have sex, I blame this on whoever came up with the Idea we need to show our kids how to have it in the first place.... like we can't figure that one out on our own.

I'm a 7Th grader and i don't think i consider this to be love for me when i ask those kinds of questions. Its just great to see peoples points of views to handle different problems. And sometimes its really hard to ask are parents these kinds of things,

Girl, even first graders say that they are in love-and they barely know how to tie their shoes and read! The parents obviously don't care and don't want to do their job as parents. If you think society is messed up now, imagine how it will be 50 years from now! *shakes head* 'Dont even wanna go there!

Are YOU in middle school? Cause you spelled "school" wrong.

Just kidding. Totally agree with you. Some of these questions and answers are definitely inappropriate for younger kids. Their parents should pay more attention to what they're doing!

hey im in middle school n not sayin tht any1 who is in it are in love but i think some o the older ones could be....and plus how many adults who say they are actuly are? the answer: less than half....otherwise why is the divorce rate so high? so if i was u id stop worryin about "little kids" who say they r in love but wont hurt anything by saying so and worry about half of the adults that say they r in love and are going to...sooner or later.... get into a big fight n probably waste some judges few days and have people hurt and familys split apart and even worse......kids grow up with no mothers or no fathers......

so b4 u worry about us loving eachother worry about us loving our parents (or lack of being able to)

oh and pleaseeee dont get me started on god.....who says he exists? you say that he forgives everyone for their sins but then you go on mass crusades and kill millions of opposing religions......have you ever noticed how humans always feel a need to be worshiped or have powers over others? well if your god exists and is a true god why does he/it have such a human need? ............................ there isnt any proof of him....no skeletions of suddenly healed lemers or whatever.....no huge boat found able to hold all the animals in the world..... all you have is a stupid book that is somehow similar to all the other religions but the one thing you all have in common is you have the only true god...i went to church with my friend once and alll when i was 12 and all i saw was some old guys trying 2 brainwash their kids about how we need to buy bikes for the kids in japan because they have to live their lives in fear of their god unlike us...our god is the only true god and he is so much better than the other gods ,,,,,, we worship him out of love and the others do it out of fear. yet if we love and forgive then why are so many hated and discriminated upon because they worship another god? and why do you say thoes that arent of your religion will burn in hell for all of eternity? that dosent seem very loving to me .......

when you can see a man walking out on the water ill beleave you.....untill then keep your god to yourself

(oh and dont even try to say my parents or others influinced me at all and filled me with lies because my mom and her boyfriend are jewish and my dad and his girlfriend are christian ........and no one at school is tellin me this stuff either im just using my extreme ability of common sense...which somehow i think the rest of the world has except when it comes to religion)

and pleasseeeee dont say ill burn in hell....i got over that when i was eight and went to a fair and a freak with bleach white hair and blue eyes told me i would if i didnt read the bible every night and follow his religion

they aren't in love, they just want to be in love, and wel their going through adolesense or how ever you spell it, give them a break. society is fine, and from what i can tell, Reading books written in the "80's" they talk about middle school love, so society isn't changing, its always been this way, maybe their wasn't Yahoo answers but w/e.

They saw it on a sitcom on the CW and THAT'S exactly what they want to be like... "Reality" imitating "Art," imitating reality.
