This guy at work knows I like him, everyones told me he was happy that I did like him but its been more than a week since then and I don't know why I'm not on a first date already! We did see each other a lot especially at work band practice and its obvious we both like each other. So is he just dragging his feet or what? Should i be the one to ask him on a date?? He does seem somewhat shy.

I learned a long time ago, as tempting as it is, never date
anyone you work with. He may be dealing with that.
Sometimes it works out, most times it dosen't. Then it can
make work relations difficult. He may be concidering all that.

I don't see why not, the worst thing that can happen is he declines the offer. Just keep it simple ask him if he would like to grab a cup of coffee, or a quick bite at the local dinner. Never hurts to try . Good luck !!

Perhaps he doesn't like all the attention of everyone else knowing what is going on. I'd say wait a bit and keep things private when and if he does make a f=move.

He might be shy or maybe he's afraid of starting a relationship at work. Ask him to lunch and talk, ask and work it out.
