2. Repeat step 1.

It's too late now... If you turn around and tell him that he cannot go with her, he may get mad and think you are being too clingy and don't trust him. Also, despite how much don't trust the girl, she has probably already paid for her prom-ticket - which means that, if you make your bf backout now, she would have wasted up to $50 of her money on a ticket she might not even use.
By saying 'no' now, all you're going to do is create problems between you and your boyfriend. Just leave things as they are and trust your boyfriend. If he likes you, he won't do anything with her. If he DOES do something with this girl (ie-falls in love with her), be glad that he's doing it now - instead of three years down the line when you start thinking about marrying him!
Simply put, don't worry about it. Just TRUST your boyfriend.

I don't think you should have done that, because, well, you trust your boyfriend, right? But do you trust the girl he is going with? How do you know that something or nothing will happen? And, to add, she LIKES him. Did he actually jump at the chance to go to the prom with her, because if he did, I would be very worried.
But then again, you trust him very much. So maybe the decision you made revolved around that honesty. And if you trust him that much, I applaude your love and trust for him. Don't mind me. I'm just a natural worry wort. =P

ummm I doubt someone can fall in love with someone after a couple of dances.
Honestly, you should have thought about that before you said he could go, because now if you tell him you can't your gonna pi** him off.
Do your parents relize that prom is the highlight of the Teenage years? Why can't you go? If he has never done anything for you not to trust him (and you say you do) then you will have nothing to worry about. IF he does start liking her after a dance, then maybe your relationship wasn't what you thought it was.

If its just to the prom and you trust him a lot then you shouldn't have a problem. If you still feel uncomfortable talk to him about it. Other than that, just let it go and trust that he won't do anything.

You say you trust him but then you say your afraid he might fall in love with her, huh, it doesn't sound like trust to me. He isn't going to fall in love with someone during one night of prom.

Omg, why did not you wreck up with him!? lady pal for 2 years? specific, now she's basically a "lady - thats a pal" quickly he would be changing you along with her. they could have been tremendously stunning jointly to win promenade king and queen, 2 human beings do not basically walk around and win that immediately. i might wreck up with him. He of course by no potential cared approximately your emotions from the beginning up.

If he agreed to go to the prom with her... he probably does like her.... he probably won't tell you that he really does because he doesn't want to comfront you about it...
You should've told him not to go with some other girl, and made other arrangements like hang out together that night or something.

If you honestly think he's going to fall in love with someone that fast...then this relationship is immature and should be stopped anyway.

You shouldn't have told him to do it if you are insecure. But rest assured. I doubt that he will want to leave you because of one night with her especially if you call him or ask him to call you afterwards so that you can share his experiences. Why wouldn't your parents want you to go though?
