It's difficult being single. People are strange, strange creatures aren't they. Even at my age I fin hard to talk to a guy that doesn't resemble a character on "America's Most Wanted" or is actually close to you type. I tried all the usual routes but I don't want to go to a bar I don't want to meet a degenerate drinker and smoker. It's fine to do casually but never all the time. So some help for this single gal would definetly do me som justice.

what can you know about someone just from looking at them?any clues,like if they have a big thumb they are such and such....

Hi, I am 16 and I have a major self esteem problem, I feel so ugly and I don’t just mean looks, I don’t have much of a personality either because I am so wrapped up in the way I look, I wear a lot of make-up and spend along time doing my hair and trying to make myself look good, I occasionally get the odd comment from a lad saying I am fit or good looking, but I have never had a proper boyfriend, If I can’t get a proper boyfriend with the make-up and hair styling how on earth will I get one without it, I can’t picture myself with a boyfriend because I feel like I am not good enough for anyone. I can’t just stop wearing make-up and spending ages on my hair because I am so used to it now that I can’t go out with out slapping on a load of make-up and over styling my hair, Most people around me have no idea that I have low self esteem because I try and hide it, I am fake around everyone including my friends, I just don’t know who I am or where my life is going. Anyone advise is welcome??

Hello I already asked a few questions in this blog and it has been enlightful..but now i think I need a person who has been there..
Just FYI I have been single for over 29 years...(If you want to count the kid years) never dated, never had a relationship..Love has been more of a disease in my life rather then a blessing ....Love has been my Kryptonite.

Is there anyone older than me (My age 29 going on 30) that is over 40 or just over 35 that is in the same state as me?
I could use some mentoring and advice to stay single rather then someone telling me that you'll find someone....It's difficut to listen to someone who has not been even single for as long as I have...

My friends told me about this guys answering machine and to call and listen to it because it was funny. My friend called and used my phone and left a message. The calls go right to his answering machine so they said the phone was off. The guy then changed his answering machine to : listen you little ****** i have caller i.d and i know your number...and he said 3 digits of mine..you know the hells angels we'll if you call again im gonna get some ppl from the phone company to track you and im gnna come and kick your ***. This guy sounded like a looser so should i be scared or is this guy just using a big gang to try and scare me?

He is 18 and I am 14 I lved him for 3 years now and I finaly told him...now what all he said was that he new..nothing wierd no awkward silence but it's also long distance whiche sucks...Should I ask him out th next time im out their, should i leave it? There is a guy that I've known for most of my life. We have both been married and have kids. We started dating. I had a one night stand, got pregnant. I'm not with the father of the baby. I really like this guy, we went to school together, i left he stayed on, kept in touch kind of. He then went away for a year but i e-mailed monthly and he replied.
I dont know how to tell him i have feeling this has now been about 2-3years.
I was drunk and sent a couple of texts sayin i liked him he replied but never said anything bout that jus general texting. then next day i realised what i done and that he didnt really reply anything so said i was drunk etc...

Theres this guy at work that I have a huge crush on. I had been dating someone since I started working here who treated me horribly and the guy at work would always have something to say that I should just leave him. He's always been really nice about it though and when my boyfriend and I finally broke up he totally knew and was very nice to me that first day cause he could tell I was upset. We're flirting all the time and he makes it a point everday at least once to come over and talk to me now that we dont sit by each other or emails me.
