Hello I already asked a few questions in this blog and it has been enlightful..but now i think I need a person who has been there..
Just FYI I have been single for over 29 years...(If you want to count the kid years) never dated, never had a relationship..Love has been more of a disease in my life rather then a blessing ....Love has been my Kryptonite.

Is there anyone older than me (My age 29 going on 30) that is over 40 or just over 35 that is in the same state as me?
I could use some mentoring and advice to stay single rather then someone telling me that you'll find someone....It's difficut to listen to someone who has not been even single for as long as I have...

anyone? Thanks for helping a Marine :)
(Old single warriors who are over 35 I salute you with deep respect)

There is no such thing as a nice guy Marine..heh heh

P.s. this is just a question reissue from before.to all of those that answer my last questions...thanks for the time to answer...

I guess it depends on what you mean by a relationship. I am 43 and have never been in a long-term, serious relationship. I have dated a bit and had a few short term boyfriends, but that's about it. Up until maybe 5 years ago, it was something I worried about, but in recent years I have realized that if I really wanted to be with someone I could have. I just prefer to do my own thing. I guess there may be a real "Mr. Right" out there who would change my mind, but until he comes along (if he ever does), I'm just as happy to be on my own. I can go where I want to go, do what I want to do, without having to always take another person into account. Maybe it sounds selfish, but I think it would be a lot MORE selfish to bring someone that I don't really love into my life just for the sake of having someone. I'm totally happy the way I am now, so why change anything just to conform to some expectation that most people seem to have?

Don't know if this helps at all. If you have any specific concerns or questions or whatever, you can e-mail me.

If you don't coun't the kid years, my uncle jerry. He's been in prison since he was 21. I think he is 46 now. But I'm pretty sure in all that time that he has gotten some at least once.
