I started to IM this lady about three years ago when I lived in California, I moved to the same state she lives in about two years ago. I have found her on myspace & yahoo personals, I also have her on my IM Friends list. Every time I try to contact her she either doesn't respond or she always has to get off (never seems to want to talk to me). I get up this monring and she left an off line message asking me "why haven't you ever ask me out?" I think she is attractive and I use to love talking to her when we did...?

I have a friend who is in a relationship where it is clear it is one sided. She is alwatys intitiating meetings with him, said I love you first and they barely see each other. Why are some people so blind and why are some men cruel enough to let it go on?

my boyfriend is the guitar player in a band. They played at the bar this past weekend. A group of girls started chanting, "Take it off! Take it off! Take it off!" so he took off his shirt and continued playing guitar. I got mad at him. Was I overreacting, or within my rights to be upset?

I have found out that they are in contact several times a week, and occassionally he will drop by to visit her. When I try to discuss how this makes me feel, He gets very angry with me. I have asked that he stop hidding the phone calls and start letting me know when he plans on going over there. I don't think this is asking to much, but he says I am being controlling. We have been dating for two years, and this problem has been going on most of the time. I am tired of not knowing what is going on, and I am tired of the secrets. I like him a lot, but I dont think anything is going to change. I could use some advice.

I'm getting the sense that the guy I'm seeing is seeing other people, or hanging out with women at the least. He works at a strip club and I often find him hanging there on his days off. When he first got the job there, he said all the guys that work there are trying to get involved with some of the dancers and they hang around at the bar to watch them even when they (the guys) aren't working. He said he'd never do that. Now, he'll say he's just having a drink on his days off. I straight out asked him was he seeing one of the dancers or anyone else for that matter and he got mad. What's wrong with being straightforward instead of guessing and being all shocked when your suspicions are right (or wrong). I'm happy he said no, but why did he get all mad?

My bf and I had a talk last night, he was telling me how he could be happier, he is not really happy, we been together for about 12 month we really don’t know much about each other, we are just together, I mean all the stuff he was saying to me was mean. And he had a nerve to say that for his b-day I got him a blow up bad, because he didn’t had a bed when he moved in to a new home he was sleeping on the floor, I thought about him and I got him a bed and he was saying that was nice but I could gotten him something else, I buy him close, shoes, food I cook for him and he NEVER bought me anything for my b-day NOTHING he doesn’t buy he anything even when I ask him for money he have to whine about it before he give me. and last night we went out to eat and even do his food was about $20 and mine was $7.50 he said so are u expecting me to pay for this I had money in my packet but I said yes I want u to pay for it and he was compelling and he even ask for the money when we got in the car he said can I please have the money he just mad me mad more, and he talks about all I thing about is money is a big issue in our relationship, he is the one doesn’t want to pay for nothing he just make me so angry. I cant argue at all and he is really taking advantage of that can someone help me how to stand for my self

my boyfriend of 4 years has been e-mailing an old girlfriend. He was married when we started seeing each other and moved downstairs while getting a divorce. This went on for 2 years until she moved out. During this time he spent every minute with me he could but he always went home at night. I found out last year that his wife had moved out 9 months before and he'd never told me. Also I found his profile on yahoo personals. I broke up with him. 2 months later he fought to get me back promising to introduce me to his family, have me over to his house, and make me the "happiest woman alive". He has done all of this and he's bought a house in north carlolina that we are moving to. However this girl from last year has e-mailed him a few times and his response has always been "when can we have lunch". Last week he tried to have her over to his house and made sure I would be working during that time. He has low esteem because he's overweight. Should I let it go or confront him?

There is this girl that I like and I can sense she likes me because we talk on instant messenger alot, we text one another alot. If we dont meet up she gets upset that she didnt get a chance to see me. Recently I asked her to be my date to my formal that I have, she said yes. Basically we broke up three months ago after being on again off again a year and a half. We haven't had any contact. She referred to me as a stalker the other day. I haven't bothered her. She's going in chat and telling them she has a stalker. I met someone else. She's a nice girl and I explained to her what's going on. She understands and said just ignore it, she'll go away. Someone let the cat out of the bag that I'm interested in this other woman. Then the person who let the cat out of the bag said that as soon as that happened she's saying her and her ex of 16 years bought a house together, making up stories. Her ex and her haven't been together in ten years. One minute she's single, the next she's with her fake ex. Why is she doing this? Is she mad about me having someone new I'm interested in? What should I do?

For singles out there who are not in a relationship - how do you handle being alone when you really need to have some human contact? I'm not just talking sex here, I mean just having someone to cuddle with, make-out, kiss, fall asleep next to, or just get a really big hug when you've had a bad day.....Do others alone find you miss this?? I am contemplating a friends-w-benefits thing, but it always makes me feel cheap and used after.....Any good suggestions out there?
