What a joke! Whoever put that idea in your head has a kink in their hardwiring! The truth.....people often times are superficial, shallow, and definetly look at outward appearance. BUT...... their are many good women out here who look to the inside of a man, and are often times "just friends" and then the attraction comes. My advice, be confident! You are just as worthy of having a special someone as the next skinny guy is! Take care of yourself, just because someone is on the heavy side doesn't mean they can't dress nice, smell nice, and be handsome. It all in how you look at yourself, and that will come through!

how about if it's the other way around? in my own observation, fat girls won't get a guy in our country. but here in our country, if you're fat a guy, no girl is going to mind your size. so i guess, fat men are more acceptable in society than fat women.

I know plenty of heavy men that have girlfriends. It takes time, as depressing as this sounds, there are some woman out there that will find you attracive for other reasons besides what you look like. Act like your self and have some confidence, that in itsself will make a big difference.

If you are yourself and they take the time to get to know you then it will happen, the ones that will not give you the time of day could lack character anyway. There are some that are looking for what counts in life.

No way! My bf is chubby (a word I prefer over fat) and it didn't stop me from falling for him! You won't meet anyone sitting around wondering tho...get out...join a club...try online dating services, etc. I met him on AFF. You could try finding a chubby girlfriend too...if you both enjoy eating, going to restaurants and such it could be a great match! Good luck!!!

No, but it's generally harder and you usually don't have your choice. Why not join a gym and tackle two things at once -- you can meet women while working out and working on your weight issue. good luck
