you see this is complicated. i've known this guy since like we were in pre-school, and he is one year older than me [that's not the problem]. so like when i was in the 5th grade i played a trick on him that i think made him mad or something but after that he would just ignore me like i don't even exist. anyway, maybe months or so my cousin told him that i like him [well i do but my cousin doesn't really know that] so that made it worse. i've realized that i like him when i was a freshman at high school. well, i think he likes me too because of what his family and my relatives say. but im too afraid to ask him if he does because his family and my family would definitely talk. and besides, he lives in asia and i'm here in the us. im just afraid that he wouldn't reply to me or anything. so what do you think i should do?

I'm not sure but this girl I now sit by (teacher changed seats) is asking me stuff like Do we have a class together this year, Didn't we have gym last year? But she does talk to other guys because she' friendly. But is this overfriendly? I did kinda make her laugh by sheepishly saying we have geometry this year, but she said DUHH. Should I ask her about what?

I had never done it before, but we had subliminally played footsie. She knows I like her. She tensed up and looked down a lot, and she seemed to shutter slightly. She also would look up at me for glances then look down again. I did it under the table at a group meeting...

I decided to go to college while my boyfriend of 2 years decided to start a career right off the bat. He is a firefighter, and he is working his way up. there's this bird i totally fancy and she lives in england, i live in america... incidently, we met right here at yahoo! answers. i generally haven't ever been able to handle long distance relationships, but something about this feels different. i don't know if i'm just mature enough to handle it now or if the connections we have are just so strong, it is the confidence of our unspoken bonds. there are so many things that we have in common, its almost unreal. on one hand, it seems unfair that she lives half a world away and on the other hand, we're very appreciative that we were brought together even if it started over technology. and there's so much that i won't even try to explain because its incredibly personal but the question is, have you ever had anything like this with anyone? If you don't think it's a deep spiritual connection, then how else do you explain it? mind you, neither of us were looking to hook up with anyone through this website... it just seemed to happen.

I had found out my boyfriend had another girlfriend before we got together and he had kept all their letters. i talk to him every night before we go to bed and we talk about everything.
well now i like him and he doesnt feel the same way, so he says.
i promised him things wouldnt be different now, but its too hard to get over him when he still does the things that made me think he liked me back..so now i dont know how to get over him without him thinking im mad at him or somethin is wrong..HELP?

OK heres the thing. Ive been dating my boyfriend for 6 months and I have been really apart of his family life since. I am an American btw. Its not like his family doesnt except Americans into thier family he has 4 uncles and every one is married to an American woman. Yet I have been having such a hard time adapting to the culture that his mother threatened to ban me from the family. K today i wore some thing REALLY CUTE....ok and usually...Kinda...i dont and this guy asked me out and i said why and he said cause i look hot.
and i said is that the only reason why you want to go out with me..and guess what...He said YEAH
And i said NO
So really my question is...Why do SOME guys only go for what you look like and not because of the Personality and stuff like that?
I mean looks kinda do count..But thats not the only thing!!
