No. It's not about being hard to get. It is about being confident.
A woman wants to believe that you chose her over all of the other women you could have had. She intuitivly understands that the more expereince you've had with women (and I don't mean sex) the more likely you are to know what it is you want in a woman.
A man who knows he is worthy does not worry about rejection. He doesn't let being rejected define his value. He undertsands that someday he will find a woman that see the value in him.

Some guys do, some guys don't. I think to some guys it is a game and it makes them work harder, and some other guys do not want to put up with that BS and will move on, because they are into the head games.
