you see this is complicated. i've known this guy since like we were in pre-school, and he is one year older than me [that's not the problem]. so like when i was in the 5th grade i played a trick on him that i think made him mad or something but after that he would just ignore me like i don't even exist. anyway, maybe months or so my cousin told him that i like him [well i do but my cousin doesn't really know that] so that made it worse. i've realized that i like him when i was a freshman at high school. well, i think he likes me too because of what his family and my relatives say. but im too afraid to ask him if he does because his family and my family would definitely talk. and besides, he lives in asia and i'm here in the us. im just afraid that he wouldn't reply to me or anything. so what do you think i should do?

Honestly, everything you said up to the point where you said he lives in Asia made me think that you should just kind of hint at him that you like him or something to see how he responds. Depending on how he responds, it would possibly show you if he likes you or not.

But after I heard that he lives in Asia... If he's not planning on returning to the US soon, then I would think, forget about it. You can continue liking him, but long distance (especially that long!) don't tend to work out most of the time.

I would know cause I had a boyfriend who lived in Asia, and it definitely didn't work out... And I've heard from others.

I wish you good luck in whatever you do!!

Yes, you do have a slight prob. Tell him what you just said, and ask him if he'd be willing to move back to USA for you. Then, while you're at it, ask your cousin, if she has e.s.p. If eveything works out with the guy in Asia, thank your cousin.

You should try to become friends with someone first. You don't just go to someone and say, "hey do you like me?" That's not how it works. Establish a friendship first, then see where it goes from there.

Maybe send him an email or something and tell him you were thinking about him and wanted to know how he was doing. Nothing strange about that

I would ask him. If you leave it in the dark you will always wonder since you've known him for so long. Even if the answer isn't what you want, at least it ties up that loose end for you and you can move on.

well it seems that if he liked you he would tell you thats what guys usually do however he might be a different type of guy so go for it whats the worst that could happen even if he says no atleast after you foudn the truth you can move on ya know

just talk to him....apologise for what had happened between you two and things will flow from there...you'll know if you should tell him how you feel at that moment or if you should wait a little while longer....depends on how he takes your apology or request to be close friends again.

just go by the flow and let it go and it will come to you soon before you know it... and if you keep on worry about all that... then it gets worst for you.. just relax and back up and wait and see what happen if his family want to talk to you and ask you how you feel about him.. tell them the truth.. and or not... but if you want to tell him yourself then let him come to you and hear from you.. smiling.

Write to him and pick up on your old friendship. Apologize for the past and tell him you'd like to get to know him again.
