I know what your talking about. I am hopelessly inlove with a friend of mine that i was intimate with. It is a tough situation. I found the best thing too do was to not sleep with the person but to be quite honest that did not work for long. Then i tried to be honest with the person and i felt so much better. Even though we will never work out i know he knows how i feel and i know that our friendship is actually stronger now. Plus knowing it wont go anyplace makes it hard to get upset because you already knew the situation before hand.

Yep - the guy broke my heart because he told me he loved me and he later told me that he just lied to get what he wanted from me. That was a big mistake in my life and I have not repeated it. The best thing to do is to move on, accept your mistake in judgment and don't dwell on the fact that you got hurt because the person you were in love with just used you. Take the love you felt for that person and turn it inward to yourself. Tell yourself that you deserve to be happy and to be loved and cherished by someone as much as you love and cherish them. Then concentrate on filling your life with things that make you happy and fulfilled. When someone else comes along, make sure you are abundantly clear that you expect to be treated right or there will be no intimacy. Good luck to you.
