I'm a 39 yr old single guy who has been alone for over 2 years. Before that I was in a 7 year relationship which produces the best thing ever to happen to me and that was my Daughter. So I have and obstical, alot of the women that I meet don't want to be bothered with a guy that has a child. And that is the thing my daughter comes first and always will, so where can I find someone who will be willing to share me with my daughter. I work full time and go to school full time to step up in my career in the medical field. Does anybody have a solution for me.

Let me explain. So I started dating this guy about five months ago. At first he was very sweet and attentive, taking me out on dates all the time. But afterawhile, he stopped doing all these things. Now he's still around, but we're pretty much on again-off again. From what I see, he doesn't care either way if whether we are together or not. He just goes along with whatever I say and doesn't take the initiative to ever reach out to me, or really talk to me. I don't know what I will do with him if we remain together. But I'm afraid of letting him go. What should I do?

theres this girl. we met a few weeks back. i think she is just beautiful and as ive gotten to know her, i really like her personality as well. anyway, we've hung out a few times and i cant get this girl out of my head. i found out that she "wants me so bad", yet she doesn't want a relationship. so i guess all she wants is a hookup. it all started when i kissed her the 2nd time we hung out. im confused though, im always the one that calls her and im always the one that finds stuff for us to do. however, rarely can she ever do anything. she always has an excuse. now, maybe she is legitimately busy but ive never met someone so busy. i mean i think its rediculous. im normally very good at reading people and i think she just doesnt like me. im confused cause she says she does "want me" but he actions dont point to the same conclusion. mayb im just whipped or thinkin about it too much. any and all help is much appreciated.

I am 16 and my boyfriend is almost 18. He doesnt know that my mom (as far as i understand) doesn't want me dating right now. But she isnt too clear. Last year when i had a boyfriend she knew about it and was against it and pretty much made us break up. Then whenever i would mention going out with guys just to hang out she says "they better not think you are their girlfriend or something" I would feel bad sneaking around with him like i did with my last boyfriend especially since that was pretty immature. I really like this guy but i dont know how to continue dating him without my mom approving. Another problem is last year when i would just hang out with juniors(when i was a freshman) she wouldnt allow it at all. so, what do i do? Is there anything i can say to her or do?

I really really like this guy and I'm attracted to him. We'd sometimes play fight, touching each other and stuff and talk to each other.

Suggestions on how to not come on too strong and tell him non-verbally that I see him as boyfriend material not a fling or someone I'd have a one night stand with.

He's not someone I'd have a one night stand with nor a fling. I want to get serious with him.

You know I rarely blush and when I told my mutual friend that I am interested in him, I blushed really bad and we both laughed.

OKAY, let's say your a dude in your 20's, you've never had any "girl experience" in your life. You've been in love with your best friend for two years & recently expressed how she feels the same for you. She's almost everything you want in a girl - she's herself, confident in her own sexy way, and she's a good girl BUT your life is stressed out right now (school, work, bills, immaturity) - What would you do? Do you want to wait until there's a more perfect time? Do you want something "real and serious" with her but now's not the right time? While I would much rather meet someone with whom to begin an actual relationship, the fact that, despite my best attempts, I have been unable to attract the romantic interests of a girl in over three years has convinced me that it is illogical for people like myself to hope for such a thing.

Based on this observation, I have recently begun attempting to meet women in bars/clubs but have had no better luck there.

Other guys seem to be able to easily approach women in these establishments, introduce himself, and the girl immediately lights up and begins socializing with him.

On the other hand, when I walk up to girls in these establishments, say 'hi' and ask them how their doing, they usually appear to be either annoyed that I dared to talk to them or just uninterested.

I was wondering if any of you might have any advice on how to approach and talk to women in bars.

The more specifics you could provide, the better.

I have been friends with this guy since I was in elementary. We dated as children. We hadn't seen eachother since I was 14. In January we saw each other. He confessed that he never stopped liking me. We started dating. Things got serious, but we stopped dating for a million and one reasons. Well I avoided him for as long as I could and we just ended up back together. Well now we are doing the same thing all over again. We avoided each other for as long as we could and today we just had to see each other. What should I do. I'm working for a helicopter maintance company works on MD 520N mostly.

Planning on going to MCC or ASU for aeronautical management technologies.

Joining the Army as a warrant officer.
Flight training, BCT basic combat training and test etc.

Full time job, soon full time college.

I don't really hang out much, just because I don't want to. Had a love, she doesn't want to go out etc, moves to atlanta, ga with family.

I was homeschooled, but, i am still cool, in fact too cool sometimes i embarass myself, so I love to spend time with ONE girl. And im not lonelly, etc, i have fun with her only.

And well, thats what I feel now.
But ahould I even consider a girl right now? Plus starting a relationship would be hard, especially when your starting college soon.

But I really miss that, 6 mos, with small relationships here and there, ever since I broke up with my 2 year gf. Now i'm wanting to start where I left off at, but with a different girl.

My bf left our apt early this morning, he said he was going "for a ride". When he got back I told him to tell me where he went. He said that he looked through a few stores for the ring and that he'd like it if I went w/him. We went to 3-4 more stores, but every time I'd bend over to look in the case... he'd walk away w/out helping. Why?

After this happened about 2 times, I called him out. He didn't really have a good reason.

Although, later in the day he kept talking about "how excited he was for me".

It was kind of embarassing to stand there picking out my own engagement ring, not knowing what he likes or what his price range is.

Like, the kind of feeling that makes you feel warm and loved for some odd reason, and watched by him. If a guy or girl liked you, wouldn't you be able to tell from your own feelings?

I think it's possible since I just feel so great inside and feel like this guy is interested in me. I don't feel it with anyone else...I just have that odd feeling, you know, that someone loves you...
