Let me explain. So I started dating this guy about five months ago. At first he was very sweet and attentive, taking me out on dates all the time. But afterawhile, he stopped doing all these things. Now he's still around, but we're pretty much on again-off again. From what I see, he doesn't care either way if whether we are together or not. He just goes along with whatever I say and doesn't take the initiative to ever reach out to me, or really talk to me. I don't know what I will do with him if we remain together. But I'm afraid of letting him go. What should I do?

its normal for all the really lovey, giddy stuff to wear off and for you guys to become sort of comfy... but if its making you feel bed, maybe its not so normal..

Have you tried testing him with a "maybe we need a little time apart" - if he jumps at the chance, i'd say let him go, have some time apart - it might show him he does really care about you and want to have you around or it could show you that your ready for something new and don't need him arounf.. if he says no he doesn't want space or time apart it will show you he DOES enjoy your company and cares for you and he's probably just being your NORMAL guy (they aren't bastards, they're just a little, okay A LOT, different form us girls) - and it just might shock him into realising how he really feels about you and how he should show it a little more.

Good luck

Is he a Scorpio??? No, seriously, you should talk to him about how you feel. It's always good to communicate with him because you two are the sole parties in this relationship. Who would know best? Be honest with one another. It's only through disagreements, quarrels and frustration do we come to see certain things when they are out in the open. Maybe he has personal issues that he can't explain or perhaps that's how he is..........due to past relationships. Maybe he's afraid to show his true feelings or express that he cares too much in fear of getting hurt somehow............

You should let him know EXACTLY how you feel... what you just told us.

Communication is important in a relationship.

If he still doesn't care about what you tell him and doesn't even consider your feelings, it's time to leave. You've done all you can do. You deserve someone much better than that.

Just move on and dump him thats all you have to do. It takes 2 to tango and if he aint dancing in the same direction as you then you gotta cut the loose ends right now.
You deserve way better so just move on and let him go.

Do something major that would make him choose whether he wants to be with you or not because if this keeps going, you're just gonna be hurt sooner or later. Either he will take too long to commit, or he will hold up your life and you won't be able to live life to its fullest.

You're wasting your time with someone who doesn't care whether you are with him or not. Why are you afraid of letting go of someone who doesn't care about you? You're tying yourself down when there is someone who will really care about you out there, who can't meet you because you are with the guy who doesn't care. I hope that puts it into perspective.

You need a better relationship. A much better relationship. Let him go so he can find a girl he wants to treat well.

Don't be afraid to let him go. Let him go and see if he changes. Don't demonstrate to him that this behavior is ok to you.

I think that you should talk to him and tell him how you feel and then based on what he says you should decide if you guys should break up. good luck!
