If you're asking here, I think you already know the answer. Try stopping the sex for a while and see if there is another foundation the relationship can be built upon. If it's love, that will become obvious. If it isn't, well that will be pretty obvious pretty fast, won't it?

The way that you describe it and use the term "mess with this guy" so casually, seems to indicate that it is simply a case of you having the HOTS for him - purely in a physical context.
I doubt that there could be very much real 'love' involved here, just the love of "messing around" with him !
