This is a little awkward for me, but I'm 19, and I have no idea how to approach women. I mean, i've never had much confidence, but I'm trying to pick myself up, and start fresh. I'm trying to work on my appearance, but honestly, where and how to guys approach women? I mean, it's embarrasing to say, but I'm completely clueless.

So, girls; where do guys typically hit on you? I mean, are there only certain places, or is it normally just about anywhere at any time of day? And where's the line between normal/charming and strange/creepy?

And guys; what kind of pointers do yall have? I mean, how do you psych yourself up or whatever?

Again, *ANY* advice is welcome. I'm totally new to the dating scene (losing weight, getting in shape), and I basically need a step-by-step guide, lol

We broke up almost a year ago, and I have been fine, all untill last night. I went to this dance hoping to get her off my mind, but they kept on playing slow dance songs, and songs about love and it brought back all of thoughs memories about her and how much I'd been missing her, so I need help to try and figure out what I can do to fix our relationship. So last night, my friends and I went out to the bars and had a great time. We drank a lot and partied hard....just like any other 20 year old college kid would do. Other than going to classes and studying on weekdays...we dont have other responsibilities since our financial needs are taken care of by our parents.

However, my boyfriend is 34 years old....and he is pissed at me for my partying and my reckless behavior....how can I get him to get over it?!?! He's such an old grump that it puts me in a bad mood.

There's this guy I know who's really nice to me and so sweet! But the thing is, he's nice to everyone. Sometimes we spend hours talking, and we seemed to have SO MUCH in common. And then he was saying how he writes poetry, and then next time I saw him, he said I inspired him to write a poem. It was a great poem too, and he liked going around and telling people I was his inspiration. He also comes up to me and talks, and waves/smiles in the hall. Like me or no?

What if I'm trying to get a girl to notice me, is it okay to stare at her until she looks my way?
I keep reading about how you need to establish eye contact with a girl. I never catch anyone looking at me, so I very rarely have an opportunity to have eye contact. And if I do, I always look away first because I am shy. I can only think of one time I stared at a girl as i was walking past her, and it seemed like i was looking at her too long. But she gave me a big smile as she walked by, so I guess I was okay?

Bottom line, how much is too much eye contact? Please help a guy who constantly struggles with the ladies!!

I just want to ge some opinions-do guys like to be approached by girls? If so, how do they like to be approached? Theres a guy I see all the time, and I always catch him looking at me (don't know if thats a sign of anything?) but I've never actually spoken to him-should I approach him or just let it go? I split up with my X of 4 munth last october and we didnt speak for a while until we sorted things out but lately hes been flirting with me & txting me. I broke up with my girlfriend last summer, but wanted to get back together and she just acted like she was better then me and that she didnt want anything to do with me anyway. But we went back out like a month later, and now we broke up again, but she knows I still want to be with her, but she keeps acting nasty and talks with an attitude, and is trying to hook up with other guys, and she tells me to leave her alone and stuff. But I'm wondering if shes doing this to be spiteful, or if she still has feelings or what, because all together we went out for a year and a half, so I dont see how she can just forget about me, even after she knows I still love her and want to be with her.

ok so everyone has the frineds that are WAY over protective. but my Bf is shy and my friends think he disnet care. He has asenperger(sp?). Every now and then i catch him staring @ me but then looks away. and since nothing happened over V-day my frineds think it is time to end it. I have dark hair and brown eyes. Im tan.i want to get contacts. I REALLY wanted to get blue ones but i dont want them to look FAKE. DO you think they will? whats the best kind of brand to get? I met a guy in my bible study. He's really sweet and I'd like to get to know him better. I don't want it to be awkward though. well this si my friends problem. this boy liked her and on her birthday he bought her 2 chocolate covered pretzzel roda at lunch and gave them to her, and had his friend tell her he likes her. then they went on 2 dates and he said he was gonna ask her out to be his gf. but now he says he doesnt like her anymore and he wantes to be friends with her. he sai dshe was moving too fast and he couldnt ever see them going out. whats up with this? and for those of you who have read my other question about me and my guy wel this guy is best friends with my guy

Few weekends ago, I received number of this girl from a bar. Two days later I called and asked her out. She replied that she had to work that day. Two days later I called again and her roommate picked up saying that she is not at home. What the hake? If she don't want to do anything with me then why she gave out her number to me?
P.S - I left her one voice mail but she never did.
I am still wondering why she gave me her number?

i went on meal with this guy. he wants to remain as friends i agree but what i don't understand was the following:

he kept staring at me and winking at me at the table and even when he was driving i had to tell him to keep his eyes on the road!

at the table he had his leg on the base of my chair...what does this mean?

He also said "there is the right person out there for everybody"looking away while saying it.....

he asked intresting questions!

Does he like me more than a mate>im confused!

we ended up making love but im scared i will never see him again!

what can i think to calm my nerves and stop worrying as the last guy i liked (i made love to him the first night) said he didn't want to be friends!the only thing i did was txt him loads but he didn't contact me! until two weeks later.....

this guy im talking about i met in a club and didn;t see him for 3 weeks and then we made love
