This is a little awkward for me, but I'm 19, and I have no idea how to approach women. I mean, i've never had much confidence, but I'm trying to pick myself up, and start fresh. I'm trying to work on my appearance, but honestly, where and how to guys approach women? I mean, it's embarrasing to say, but I'm completely clueless.
So, girls; where do guys typically hit on you? I mean, are there only certain places, or is it normally just about anywhere at any time of day? And where's the line between normal/charming and strange/creepy?
And guys; what kind of pointers do yall have? I mean, how do you psych yourself up or whatever?
Again, *ANY* advice is welcome. I'm totally new to the dating scene (losing weight, getting in shape), and I basically need a step-by-step guide, lol

Well, me and all of my friends had a falling out recently, so I'm kind of having to start a fresh slate anyways. Also, "be yourself" isn't good advice when "yourself" is a blubbering idiot around girls. I mean, let's say I start a conversion... "Hi, I'm Jared." "Hi." What next?

i LOVE when a guy comes up to me. my god you just have no idea how cute i think it is when a guy walks up to me and say "hey whatsup" or something . ESPECIALLY when I'm with any of my friends. i just think its so adorable and very attractive. I dont care where it is. i think its best , when a guy comes up, and sits next to me and starts talking. most of us wont give you a weird look or walk away or anything, if they do, then forget them. I personally believe every guy deserves a chance, so if you approach me and say hi, i will talk. Basically, i dont like to give you my number, i would rather you ask for it =] Then i will give it to you happily.
and whatever you do DONT talk about anything gross.
AND dont forget to flirt. Scoot closer if you think shes into you.While you talk to her, touch her hand. Then right when it starts to get hott, give her your phone number and say you hav to go. She will want you so bad, expect a call within 3 days . lol

I'm the same I have no idea what to say and I get really nervous.
The best thing to do is go in a night club and have a lot to drink and have a dance with them.
Then you will get to know them.

if you want to impress a girl just be yourself i give this advice to everyone cuz it is proably the truest girl advice i know if a guy came up to me and was a total fake i would try anything to get away from him
when you are around girls be yourself and the girl will proably feel more comfortable with you and she WILL start flirting and dont ask "lets go on a date " just ask her if she want to hang out with your friends and you to make her feel more comfortable around you then after that ask her to a movie or something with just you and her

First thing to do is look at the girls. Then you got to talk to them. Simply just go up and say:
" Hi, can i talk to you?"
Then if they agree introduce yourself. Ask them questions about themselves e.g age, hobbies, interests.
Find the courage to one girl and then it will be easier the nxt time i promise you! Be nice and respectful. Smile a lot. gd luck

I've never had any luck hitting on girls. The only thing that works for me is casually talking to a girl and flirt when you know she is ready for that step. When a girl is interested in you she'll make it easy for you to talk to her. If she isn't interested, she'll keep quiet and make it very hard for you. one thing to keep in mind, you can never boor a girl into going out with you.

Just be friendly. How are you going ot get a gf if you cant make friends with a girl first?
Girls in my experience dont like slimy nasty guys hitting on them rudely (most dont likt it, some do). You can tell if she is a skank by how she dresses usually.

well, we pretty much get hit on anywhere all the time, by sick men like the guy that gave you your first answer, but a simple hi...i'm(your name) and a smile usually gets my attention. h

confidence is the key. also complements make for good ice breakers. who doesn't love a complement?...nothing way over the top.. just you have pretty blue eyes..etc. whatever you do, don't use lines. grls love sincerity.

well id approach a woman by using those two wonderful things god gave me called legs and id walk up to here and say "sorry miss i lost my puppy could you help me find him,i think he went into this cheap motel room" then you either get a slap or sex!
